Atul Sharma: Fastest Bowler in the world

If he does do ok, he won't be doing ok for long with his action. The hyperextension's not the worst of his problems, he puts tremendous strain on his back and for a small guy (in height and frame) he won't last long before getting injured. He's clearly got some talent, and I don't normally like to see natural actions being changed, but in this case it does need tweaks just to make sure he doesn't break down after a few games.

Mavericks Cricket Coaching - Welcome

There's a video, there's a video, there's a video :D =D Looking forward to seeing this. Not sure if it's a video of his action though, the description says:

IPL player Atul Sharma of The Rajasthan Royals is back again in training in South Africa this week with Ian Pont. He's recovering from his shoulder injury, which he sustained in a fielding accident in a practice game, far faster than expected. This is a video montage of his drills and fitness dedicated to his amazing workload and strength & conditioning.

Helluva fitness routine. I'm looking forward to seeing this guy play - if nothing else, it's been a great viral marketing campaign.

Seems that Ian's helped to explain why Atul's not been picked yet, what with him having a shoulder injury. Hopefully he'll get over that and be given a go. Certainly seems to be a very strange bowling action, and the javelin-esque side steps are very unique. Hopefully Warney'll give him a go if he gets over his shoulder problem.

Jesus christ I wasn't expecting him to be so exceptionally strong looks like an ox of a man.

I have had an awful week. I was dropped from my second XI school cricket team before a game, for people who did not even show up at the nets. There is no third XI because anyone who can play cricket is in the second XI...

...this makes me feel better.

That's a Hulk of a bowler...
From the video it seems he has a very high hand release speed, as claimed by Pont. I cant wait to see this guy bowl in IPL.
Hoping that he quickly recovers from his shoulder injury.:upray

WOW this guy is built more like a NFL player than a cricketer.

The action is interesting and to me it looks like he doesn't look where the ball is going all the time, something like that Amjad Khan dude that just played for England against the WI.
With his sort of bowling action he will have some problems with injures but he seems like he is in great shape and should be able to avoid any major ones.
Would be nice to see him have a go in the IPL.

lol i know he is practicing like a football (not soccer) players
