Australia in India

great play overall by both teams....! uthappa's stunt at the end was amazing !!
dravid and yuvi were the culprits...played too slow without making much runs...

anyways....sreesanth needs to be dropped for a long period of time.......
dravid needs to be given a stick too....his last 10 ODI's have been
horrible. this series especially has been a disaster for him...
plus, neither is he quick on the field, nor does he do any bowling..
his ONLY strength/ability is batting in which he is failing miserably....

and i dont see any rotation except for murali kartik.....what happened there
BCCI ?? mumbai match should be like a testing ground for india...instead of
thinking of a victory and stuff...

Why rotate Murali Karthik? He's been your best bowler statistically for the past few games, he doesn't deserve dropping.

no no i meant there wasnt any NEW player into the squad except for murali karthik.! badrinath was picked up due to gambhir's injury..

Regarding Dravid, One bad series... doesn't implies that he should be dropped from the squad. He is a class player. Suprisingly, his form went down horribly in this series. May be, he is feeling very uncomfortable to play just as a ordinary player under a new captain or something like that which is what i feel.

Sachin/Sourav's tactics were simply superb. They developed a beautiful victory platform which was failed to be utilized properly by our players in the end. Brilliant batting by Robin though.

For this loss, our dear dear bowlers are responsible and not Dravid or Yuvi. Ponting's words turned very true in Sreesanth's case. ( The aggressive cricket doesn't mean to jump over at the opposition... something like that) As i always say, I never never trust our so called pace bowlers.

Anyways, excellent win for Aussies and they clearly played far far better cricket than India in this series. Unless our bowling have magical/miraculous improvement, we are likely to struggle in even more worse way. I said the same at the end of England series too. ;)

Ahh right.

India Side for next game;
1.Sourav Ganguly.
2.SachinTendulkar.
3.Robin Uthappa.
4.Yuvraj Singh.
5.Rohit Sharma.
6. Mahendra Singh Dhoni. *+
7.Irfan Pathan.
8.Harbahjan Singh.
9.Zaheer Khan.
10. Murali Karthik.
11. Bose, if possible, it's clear this is a very good chance to try another young seamer in a dead series.

We have a new finisher in Robin, just unfortunate that we conceded waaaaay too many.

Hats off to the Aussies though, they gave us a good ol' battering and it's a good wake up call.

Wake up call for what? :what We have been maintaining poor poor bowling standards in ODIs especially for a very long ages. Remember, we struggled to make Bermuda to be all out in WC2007... We forgot the yorkers/blockholes( in depth over in particular) during England tour... The same poor bowling standards continued in this series too.

Except Twenty20, our standards of bowling is far low than even Ireland's bowling.

Yes. That was a bit of a joke, maybe they just wanted absolute confirmation that the old formula does not work and that the old guard, although two of them are batting well, leak too many runs in the field.

Wake up call for everything because we were all hyped about the future after success at the T20, and this brought us back to reality.

Im slightly interested in how the twenty20 success was supposed to bring anything if a different squad is used for ODIs.

I don't know, just the general feeling that we won.
