Australia in India

Was a tight one, the Aussie eyes would have seen a mm of Ponting foot behind the line while India the other side. Big wicket none the less, Clarke really needs to fire last thing we need is Hodge needing to come in.

Can someone please explain on the line to me? because I was under the impression that it was out, but the commentators kept calling it "umpires line" or something to that effect.

Clarke being in is probably not a great thing for the Aussies, especially since this is the best time for him to come in, with his form as well, I would back him to be there at the end.

Yes i realise that. But hes definately not happy. What we see isn't always what happens but i would guess after looking at his arm actions he wans't very happy.

Yeah, they call it the "umpire's line" colloquially to show that the umpires get to "take" the wicket. Doesn't really make sense to me, but that's what they do.

You mean Indians?

Looks like PC's iffy server ate my last message.

Well, Aussies look in full control. I'm going to watch a couple of Murali Karthik's overs to see how he is received and then call it a "night" (it's 4.27 am).

IMO that was out, and but Punter doesn't agree.

Was close, but I still think it was out.

Clarke C & B Harbhajan

Something tells me Hodge will come out now, too early for Symonds, and it may be too late for Symonds later.

Hmm... they've sent Symonds in. If he sticks in for about 20 overs, the match'll be done and dusted.
