Australia in India

I have no hope on any in our team at this moment to win this one! Series is GONE!!!! We bowled well in the middle, but as usual we just dont have the right guys to do it consistently enough. And teams like Australia will make you pay for that

The pitch is great and the outfield is an absolute lightning bolt.
We can do it. Keep your hopes up. Positiveness! :)

The wicket is getting slow, and is taking turn (we saw what Bhajji and Kartik did). I feel Hogg will be enough for us. Our spin playing tradition wont come to play here. We have become a bit more suspect against spin these days.

I am positive man. if not, I would have hit the sack by now (its 3:40am in the morning and I watched the whole aussie innings, havent slept yet). i would watch this game. my brain says india wont win this, though they could get a decent total.

Sreesanth drops Symonds.
Ironic.
Wonder how costly that'll be?

He played like an idiot today. that drop has proved very very costly.

Yeah, there's enough there to score many runs still. The field is lighting smooth and the pitch is consistent.

The trouble is that there were several periods in which India gave away loose deliveries which became loads of runs. At the same time, virtually every Australian batsman either got out for little impact or got away with a definite early chance and some of those will be heavy on India's minds. There were enough opportunities for India to have restricted Australia below 250, maybe even 200.

Batting is where they have the most talent, but so far this series, it has been very much an all or nothing mindset, the batsmen getting out early or fighting and going on to make good scores. How many will give their all today?

Big hit for six for Dada from Bracken.
And Symonds bowled a great first over. :O

I see Punter delaying the third PowerPlay and bowling Symonds on for a bit. He was pretty sweet.

Barry Richards really needs to understand the wide rule. Earlier he was wondering why Tendulkar wasn't called for a wide when the ball pitched a meter outside leg stump, spun in and hit the batsman (bowling around the wicket). He compared this to Sreesanth who was bowling over the wicket and bowled it a fraction down leg-side and got called for a wide because it obviously was down the leg-side.

Now he claims that if the ball pitches in line it cannot be called wide regardless of how much it spins.

Early onset of senility? Perhaps not early because he's getting quite old.

79 off 15. Close enough to 100 :)

Hogg on. This will be a test. This track is a spinner, he'll be dangerous.
30 overs of spin expected. And we'll see Bracks' bowling his cutters too, so 40?

Must have a bit of rip in the pitch, Symonds doing ok, testing the waters for Hogg. Clarke might come into this as well.

Let's say 35.:p

Should be at least 50 overs of spin for the match. South Africa should take tips from this game.

Australia's bowling attack is rubbish. Esp that Mitchell Johnson guy. This is what it should be:

Lee
Bracken
Clark
Hilfenhaus
