i fear the biggest cricket rivalary today india and australia may already be over because australia have beaten india in india thats why the aussies were so hyped up about the indian tour because that was the only place they didnt win for some time, but now australia have won there making them the best team in the world by far and if you think about both of the teams have no reason to be big rivals now.

also i would of liked steve waugh to have ended his career during this tour so he could of marked his revenge for the 2001 series

This was not the last time Aussies and Indians played each other.
In this way the Ashes rivalry was over decades ago.
and as India won a test series and a one-day series for the first time in Pak you may say Indo-Pak rivalry is over as well.

The Ashes is about the death of English cricket; therefore, The Ashes is over when England dominates it.
