Australia in risk of being dethroned from #1 spot

I'm not worried. We are the best One Day International side and 3 consecutive World Cups show that. If another team can match that achievement, or go unbeaten in 2 consecutive World Cups, then they will be the top team of that era.

I agree with matt. Even if we dont keep top spot. We will always be a great ODI test and 20/20 side. Say what you want. But australia are the best ever.

Don't know about best but they proved lot even they lost match against india.
They didn't allow india to take Bonus point..They made India to work hard for each and every singles...And If Suppose lee got the Sachin Early,then it was never easy chase..
So Still they Defended their 160 very well...

They are a very good side,but there dominance might just be slipping.They are not exactly the force they used to be earlier.Mayeb,i'm just concluding this on the basis of the India-Aus Series.
The rankings-well they are stupid,even if Aus slips,they will be hailed as a force to reckon with.

I find it funny. After the 2005 Ashes everyone is like "omgzzz, Australia is slipping!!111!! there dominance is ending!!11"

And then after that, we slaughterd the teams that came out here, and won a world cup. And then this series we have lost one test match, and one one-dayer and the cycle begins again.
