Aussie Batsmen Dominate Day
Australia's batsmen have put in a fantastic day 3 effort to put the match seemingly out of reach for the West Indies. Resuming play at 5/332, Australia lost the wickets of Symonds (50), Haddin (10) and Johnson (7) in quick succession, seeing the tourists collapse to be 8/385. Brett Lee came to the crease and batted absolutely superbly, smashing the West Indies bowling attack all over the park. After Katich and Lee had put on a 202 run stand, Katich fell to Dwayne Bravo for an outstanding 242. Shaun Tait managed to hang in there long enough for Lee to get his maiden test century before he was dismissed by Collymore in the last over of the day for 3, leaving Binga on 104*. A final total of 606 off 200 overs gives Australia a 332 run first innings lead, and an ideal position to win the test. Simon Katich celebrates his double ton
