Australia tour of New Zealand 2010

I didn't think they were adding a fast bowler? Tuffey out for Williamson (though that is a rather strange swap)

According to Radio Sport the selectors had another meeting this afternoon and apparently they were discussing whether or not to bring another fast bowler into the squad.

oh ok. I posted some names of domestic players doing well a couple of pages ago but they're not the greatest players...

I think Jeetan has no chance of playing tbh. With Williamson there, he can bowl as the second spinner which would also solve the second problem of a weak batting lineup

This Aussie attack is not fearsome, Harris played one test, Hauritz doesnt spin it, Johnson mostly bowls wide pies and has a deceptive bouncer. Bollinger is the pick. Pretty average bowing attack, if you were a domestic player in any country you wouldnt be losing sleep over facing Australia now, no fear factor. We might be winning tests but our bowlers can be handled, as the 2nd innings showed.

But I think we have struck a good balance, especially now that Watson is bowling. Both Harris and Bollinger have the ability to swing the new ball, Johnson has the x-factor and Hauritz is learning his art with every match.

Good luck Williamson, although this probably means Sinclair may not get a go.

You have the build up the reputation, we would have been saying the same thing about Warne and McGrath when they were starting up. Very few bowlers can get that fear factor straight away, Lee managed it and Ahktar but for the non express bowlers it takes time. Johnson should have got it but hes too inconsistent and hasn't got close to his spell in SA.

Saw the pitch on the news and I have never seen a greener pitch before if we don't get a good amount of sun on it tomorrow I don't see Williamson playing.
