Australia tour of New Zealand 2010

This is a prime opportunity for NZ to set up a win for themselves. 300+ would be nice. They've shown that they can score 400+ but that usually comes in the second innings. We need 400+ every innings!

Johnson's last over was brilliant, that bumper really unsettled Sinclair for the next couple of deliveries and good stuff by Haddin behind the stumps. I just hope Watson gets a 100 in the next innings and picks up few wickets here as well to keep Hughes warming the benches for a bit longer.

Watson can fail for 3 Test series and he'll probably be still there. He just won the AB medal and gives Ponting another bowling option. Hughes won't be replacing him, his time will come through retirement.

Haddin with his jibe about Skippy's shoelaces being tied together was pretty funny. Good to see some banter in amongst it all.

Well payed NZ. Aussies played recklessly and paid for it. We bowled really well. Might be one of Martin's last tests sadly.

McIntosh has let me down a bit. I stick up for him but that's a horrible leave. I still rate him as the right guy to be opening for us at the moment. The main thing is Ingram didn't play so we're not 2 or 3 down. Sinclair did a good job, lets hope he can continue tomorrow. Really want to see him do well.

You guys just got bowled out for under 250. I wouldn't be so confident if I were you.

I think 1 of the 5 days we're going to royally fearsome tweak this up and hand the game back. The pitch will probably be best for batting today and tomorrow. We need to survive the entire day.

Yeah exactly. Today is a massive day for the Kiwis. If they are still batting by the end of the day, they should be in a winning position. But if they are out by then, well the match is still open and history suggests Australia will take the chance if you leave the door open.

NZ need a lead of 150+ to seriously test the Aussies. This score reminds me of the 2004 SL v Aus series where in every test Aus got rolled on day 1 for a crap score, only to post 500 in the 2nd innings in every test and win all 3 tests.
