Good point by Mark, Black Caps are playing positively which is keeping the scoreboard ticking over before they get that jaffer that could get them out. We were just playing to survive, scoreboard went no where and when the jaffer came we got into big trouble.

Pretty poor from Guppers and the commentators were talking about not losing a wicket and that's exactly what happened. Still need to these two else we will be trailing by tea by some margin.

Good innings from Taylor but some pretty awful bowling by our guys, loose is an understatement. Its just what I meant earlier that no-one need be afraid of our attack, they can be taken down if you have the skill and the will. Bollinger and Johnson do bowl quite wide, even their stock balls arent bowling anyone, just the odd one.

What's the deal with Guptill? He's so average.

He just shouldn't be playing test cricket, especially at five. He averages about 28 in FC cricket in New Zealand so why they've stuck with him after he failed at the top I have no idea.

Well NZ arent the only country with top 6 batsman who average well below 40 in FC cricket, doesnt look too good most of the time.

But we have so many other batsmen that average just under or over 40 in our comp career wise and have racked up more then one 100 (which is all Guptill's done)

Got one of the dangermen, now one more and we are into the tail. Harris again impressive, and his speed is right up there. Siddle is going to struggle to get back in and maybe even Hilfy.
