Alright batting from Southee but why didn't Martin run that second one at the start of the over
So NZ batting continues to be crap. Taylor was lucky to get his 100. Despite his century, it questions the maturity & temperment of the entire Kiwi batting lineup - i.e. Are they fit enough to play tests? No difference between WI & NZ where Taylor has done a Gayle today.
My only hopes were on Sinclair who has done his job quite fairly against Aussies even during McGrath period. Importantly, he has that temperment that suits for tests.
Beautiful example of why the UDRS is so good. That side on hot spot shows it all. Good innings by Taylor, probably not his greatest but it will gone down in the record books as that.
So last week Ross Taylor wasn't good enough to be playing test cricket according to you, now it's the rest of the team? :sarcasm
Yeah of course we have 3-4 guys that aren't good enough for test cricket yet but shesssh give it a rest.
Well he didn't deserve that 100 but they all count in the end.
Maybe Chris Martin should be given two lives?
a) Old NZ order which I liked- Fleming, Richardson/Young/Bell, Sinclair, Astle, Mcmillan and Parore
b) Current NZ order - Mr X, Mr Y, Mr Z (inconsistent top 3), Guptil, Taylor, McCullum
McCullum is better than Parore ever was. You obviously didn't see much of Parore. He wasn't dependable in the slightest.
And as your your stupid comments, at least unlike the West Indies we're somewhat competing with Australia. Why don't you lay into the Australians for the same thing? Half of them threw their wickets away.
I can think of 3 sides before us who should lose their test status TBH. All have much larger population pools too.

I would not be surprised if Aus bat till Day 4 now and post a lead well over 400
