Geeves was dam average in his last 2 overs, looks like he should have been bowled out. Hopes again struggles against SA batting lineup hopefully not a sign of things to come.

We have been misisng a 3rd bowler from a long time. Good things is Bracks will be playing in ODI's . After seeing Dussey, i think we should take him to Ashes he is better spinner than mcgain and Krejza on the other note, our 3rd XI is enough for England.

The players who should not be playing for Australia in 20/20s are Clarke, Hopes and White.

Clarke is not a 20/20 player and his stats prove that. His 20/20 average is 18. Hopes struggles to score over a run a ball and is more a line and length bowler who can be easily hit in the shortest form of the game. Also White isn't in good form at the moment at all.

Where is Brad Hodge? He has been in good form all season and if they pick Shane Harwood obviously age isn't a factor. Also Dirk Nannes should be given a few games. Left armer. He's quick bowls in the mid 140's is difficult to face and is a proven 20/20 bowler

I am surprised that David Hussey was named Man of the Match. Albie Morkel and Mark Boucher really changed the match and won the match for South Africa. Man of the Match shouldn't go to the highest scorer. Hussey also took two wickets, but Morkel and Boucher turned the match around.

White is a good player at 20/20's but he should be removed in 50 over matches.

I was also impressed with Warner's batting, good chance for him to get back on the ODI squad.

Yeah, but without Hussey there really would have been no match to turn. Even after his batting, South Africa could have romped home, but he continued to frustrate them. The game was still in peril when Morkel got out, too. It took the work of several South Africans to match a very good solo performance.

It's frustrating to see Australia bring in so many new bowlers in a single match, but understandable given the injury list. Hopes is definitely one I'd rather not use in T20, however. Still, they could have defended 180 and even if it wasn't the best bowling performance, the team on the whole delivered a pretty pathetic batting performance. They might need to step it up if Smith is playing next game, because he will make them pay more than Amla.

Touche. To think, an IPL team would offer him 1 million US for him? No way. There are players in Australian Domestic that could run all over Clarke.

Hussey was outstanding, the real form and reason for why he's in the side.

The same set of people who criticized D.Hussey ( Dussey, a spoiler where Hussey(M), a hero ) especially one particular person over the msn to me, has now started to praise D.Hussey. Don't worry about the Ashes.. Yesterday, after seeing England's terrible game-play,Aussies can easily whitewash them if England team is not coming together to play some good cricket. How quickly mind goes from good to bad and bad to good

Anyways Albie the hero.. Once again, the platform was developed by Albie and which was executed well by Boucher in the end. SA could have done much more better if they had kept the outstanding Hussey quiet. Anyways, win however it comes does matter Well done, SA :cool:

Damn I fell asleep at night so couldnt watch the SA innings, it must have been a fantastic game. Dave Hussey was breathtaking with those sixers, he took revenge for what Steyn did to his brother Mike

Well Albie again disappoints the Aussies. He reminds me of Klusener whenever he's batting in these situations with Boucher.
