Great bit of sportsmanship by both Johnson and Amla.

Good total by Australia but they will need to bowl well to win the game. Without a quality spinner (Hauritz ) the middle overs will be tough to contain. Should be a very exciting game.

Hehe the not so quality spinner ended up winning the game That was a serious collapse by the SA batters I have expected a lot more.

Batting wise feels we are missing that one big power hitter still but good effort. Dussey seems to get run out quite a bit.

It's going to be more tough for Brett Lee to get back on the 50 over squad.

Laughlin spot is open and it should go to either Lee or Tait.

Must say this is turning out to be a complete reverse of the summer. SA to win the 2nd ODI, then Aus to win the remaining 3 if the pattern is to continue.

A very convincing win for Australia. Always good to see Hussey make some runs and collect the MOTM award, which I thought maybe could of gone to Hauritz.

Even though I didn't get to watch any of the game when I woke up this morning, I was pleased because Australia gave South Africa a thumping . When I saw a snippet of a highlight of the game before an adbreak, the score was a 3/110. I was quite shocked when I found out South Africa was bowled out for around 150.

I've not seen this guy bat, but how in the world is Callum Fergeson in the team? He averages 30 in OD cricket, not much better in FC either. How did he make the Australian side for such an important series? Wouldn't guys like Brad Hodge get picked ahead?

Ferguson has been picked on his form this season he averaged 45 in the FRC while Hodge averaged 38. Not to mention Hodge is finished, see his last ODI series and you will know why he isn't being picked.

Its over for Hodge he could Score a 300 in a county or shield game an they still wont select him in tests.
We have good batting depth so they are looking to the future now not just someone who will retire in a year or so.

If you see the first few game Ferguson played for Australia you will see how good he can play.
I havent seen him play much state cricket but Wow the way he played perfect yorkers an still manged to get 4s was great to watch an i havent seen anyone who is that good against yorkers.

Actually it'll go to Siddle. Lee will have to dominate in the IPL and take a million wickets to get back into any of the Aussie teams.

Siddle still has to prove himself in the ODI arena. There is only 3 bowlers locked in Bracken, Johnson and Hopes. Hauritz has pushed himself for the 4th spot but no bowler has grabbed the 5th spot.
