LEE CLAIMS EARLY WICKET

The Indian game plan was obviously to come out hitting, something which Virender Sehwag is capable of doing. Unfortunately after hitting multiple fours and targeting Glen McGrath Sehwag was caught on the boundary from a Brett Lee bouncer. Virender may have been a little over confident in trying to hit Lee's bouncer out of the park...

LEE OVER CRIPPLES INDIA

In one single over the whole match has been turned on it's head. Brett Lee thundered in and claimed 3/0 including 2 wickets in a row with the hatrick being dropped. Just Langer turned from hero to villan after taking a lofted cover drive on the 5th ball then dropping a sharp outside edge on the 6th. It was a hard chance but it still could have been taken. Lee first claimed Dravid who was caught behind then Tendulkar who was also caught by Gilchrist. Singh was then forced into a lofted shot which Langer caught easily. The Indian's must produce a partnership now to stay alive in the match as Lee looks even more fired up...

DHONI GOES

The Indian's have fallen under more pressure with the wicket of Dhoni for just 22. Although it was a good fighting innings from the young wicket keeper he needed to stay in and support VVS Laxman who is looking solid at the other end. Dhoni played at an off side delivery from Lee which induced the edge to first slip where Warne took a nice catch...

LAXMAN REACHES 50

VVS Laxman has provided the only support in another dismal Indian innings, scoring a slow but steady 50. Laxman has had his fair share of luck, being dropped down the legside from a Brett Lee bouncer by Gilchrist which would have been an absolute pearler of a catch. Although it has been tough the Indian's innings is looking a tiny bit brighter with VVS at the crease..

LAXMAN CAUGHT INFRONT

Shane Warne has destroyed the last resistance of India by trapping VVS Laxman plum infront for 74. Laxman tried to sweep a leg break pitched just on leg stump but misjudged it and was given out LBW. This is a crucial wicket for the Australian's as India holds a tiny lead but the tail is already exposed...

Summary: The Indian's have come back slightly with good performances from Laxman and Pathan(who fell LBW to Warne the ball before lunch) They still however have a lot of work to do with the tailender's to get back into the match...

AUSSIE'S DESTROY TAIL

The Australian's have finished off the tail after lunch by claiming 3 wickets for just 1 run. Lee ended up with figures of 72/7 with some superb bowling at the openers and top order. A concern for Australia is the possible injury of Glen McGrath, who bowled only 12 overs before leaving the field with a suspect ankle problem. The openers now only require 45 runs for victory...

There is no fourth bowler, it's just McGrath, Lee and Warne. Symonds was rested.
