LEE STRIKES QUICKLY

The Indian's have lost their 5th wicket for just 2 runs after Lee caught and bowled Tendulkar. Lee bowled a quick 150 km bouncer which surprised Sachin into skying a pull shot straight up in the air where a comfortable catch was taken by Lee. A partnership must now form between Kaif and Dhoni to take the Indian's past 300...

S.Warne 2/57 (22)
A.Symonds 0/11 (5)

Summary: The Australian's have come back well after a shaky start. Sehwag looked to be taking the game away but some great bowling from Warne has evened out the odds at the end of day 1...

KAIF CLEAN BOWLED

Shane Warne has taken his third wicket of the innings. Kaif was beaten by Warney's quicker sliding ball which knocked the top of his leg stump when he tried to drive the mis-judged ball. This is a big wicket for the Aussie's as the Indian tail is now exposed, however strong it may be...

Summary: The match is pretty well balanced at Lunch on day 2. Mahendra Dhoni is looking in good touch while Pathan has been solid in defence and is trying to rotate the strike. The Aussie's would be looking to roll the Indian's for around 250 now...

AUSTRALIA FINISHES THE INNINGS

The Australian's have finished off the innings and have left India all out for 260. Some great batting from Dhoni at the end helped get the Indian tail over 250. Warne and Lee where the best of the bowlers. Phil Jaques time has come, what can he do?

Thanks James. I quite like the pitchad, even though it is a little old :D

INDIA CLAIMS LANGER EARLY

Justin Langer has been caught in the slips early in the innings for just 7 runs. Langer was drawn into a cover drive but the cut of the ball beat his middle and nicked the edge where Chawla took a good low down catch to remove the gutsy opener. This is a big blow for the Aussie's as Langer is in good touch and the next 3 men in are under pressure to score runs...

ANOTHER WICKET FALLS

Phil Jaques hope of a dream start to test cricket has been shattered by Sreesanth. Jaques was a little unlucky, He tried to drive a pitched up half volley but the ball jagged up off the pitch and hit his glove then deflected onto the stumps. A bad end to an unsteady innings. It is now do or die for Damien Martyn as he walks to the crease...

Darn, a little unlucky for Jaques, hopefully he can put up a strong performance in the fourth innings. Atleast he's playing his natural game though...Australia in trouble here.

PONTING REACHES 50

Ricky Ponting has gone on the attack and is building a solid partnership with Damien Martyn. The Captain has just reached his 50 which has included many 4's all over the ground. Ponting's driving has been especially good and it is starting to show on the scoreboard. The Indian's need to breakthrough soon or these two batsmen could run away with the match as they have done before...

MARTYN REACHES 50

Damien Martyn is beginning to show signs of his old form by producing a fighting half century. Martyn has batted well with Ponting and both look at ease at the crease. If his partnership continues as it is going the Indian's are in for a rough ride...
