GAYLE OUT EARLY AGAIN

Glen McGrath has stuck again, and again it is Chris Gayle. McGrath has obviously found a weakness in Gayle. McGrath bowls a slightly shorter slower ball which Gayle can't resist at having swipe at. This always ends up with him being caught in the covers. Gayle will have to work on his technique if he is going to have any sort of a good tour. McGrath now has 21 wickets in just over 4 innings.

G.McGrath 1/9 (4)
B.Lee 0/6 (3)

Last Wicket: C.Gayle: c D.Martyn b G.McGrath (11)

W.Hinds 4*
B.Lara 0*

HINDS GONE

The Aussies have taken their second wicket of the morning, Wavell Hinds. Shane Warne tempted Hinds into trying to sweep an off break which he completely missed a lost his off stump. With Hinds gone Lara and Chanderpaul will need to create a big partnership...

WARNE CLAIMS LARA

The Windies are in trouble after loosing their two most in form batsmen cheaply. Brain Lara was trapped plum in front for 30 by Shane Warne who now has two wickets to his name. Warne bowled the exact same delivery to Lara as he did to Hinds but this one turned slighlty more so it struck Lara's thigh pad right on middle instead of bowling him. The Aussies now have control of the match...

CHANDERPAUL DEPARTS

Michael Kasprowicz has made a sucessful comeback so far by snaring the wicket of Chanderpaul. Kasper bowled a stunning inswinging yorker which slammed into Chanderpaul's middle stump as he tried to push the ball away. The Windies now must rely on Sarwan and Samuels to carry the Windie total past 200...

SARWAN REACHES 50

The Windies now have a good chance of reaching 250 after Sarwan reached his 50. He has been playing Shane Warne well, getting his feet to the ball and smashing it through the covers or mid wicket. He has not given away any chances or played stupid shots. He has however looked a little jumpy when facing Brett Lee's pace. If he and Samuels can get a big partnership going then the Aussies might be forced to chase up to 350...

WARNE STRIKES AGAIN

Shane Warne is undoubtedly having his best game of the series after he claimed his third wicket. Again a West Indian was tempted with full pitched bowling into trying a sweep shot which resulted in his wicket. This time it was Samuels. Warne now has his best figures of the tour and is bowling the best so far at his home ground...

AUSSIES PULL BACK WINDIES

The West Indians have finished the innings all out for 246. They were looking like getting over 250 at one stage but a brilliant spell of bowling from Warne stopped them just short of the mark. Warne was cheered of by his home crowd after taking 5/99 if 33.5 overs. He was also well supported by McGrath who took three and Kasper who took 2. Another highlight of the innings was Justin Langer's absolute pearler of a catch which he took one handed at 3rd slip diving to his right. Sarwan was the main contributor for the Windies but he fell to Warne trying to sweep where he got a top edge stright to Langer at first slip
