The top three batsmen are going to have to score the bulk of the runs for Victoria, the middle order is quite inexperienced. Will be interesting to see where Katich bats, will most likely be at four unless they drop Jaques down the order. :)

If they were moving anyone down the order it'd probably be Warner whose been struggling. They might think his 99 is him returning to form. Katich is pretty versatile so guessing he'll go 4.

Hoping for Hussey to tear it up in domestic and Clarke to flop big time in the WC

I think Blues have as good a chance as anyone. Victoria have been there every year in the finals and this is there first experience but the way they have been playing, they have nothing to fear. If they are going to stand a chance of claiming the title they are going to have to see off the formidable challenge presented by Victoria, have an outstanding pedigree in 40-over cricket.

Perhaps not Wade. I;ve watched him bat, and he could be good for Australia, but with Hadds, Paine, etc, maybe he's a bit far down the order for Hilditch.

Speaking of our esteemed national selector, can anybody tell me why he was named a selector in the first place? Qualifications maybe? Tubby Taylor said Krezja should play tests and not ODIs (I agree btw) because we need someone who will take wickets. The problem is atm (in tests) is that the selectors want another world dominating side when they don't have the resources for one.

Thank you Victoria, despite almost giving me a heart attack. Looking forward to smashing you in the final!

Haddin is on the way out and his performances are starting to slip. Paine will probably get the spot but there are still doubts about his scoring rate after the powerplay.

So lucky! O'Keefe was awesome, his batting has improved out of sight.

It was a heartbreaking finish last night. Suprised to see Nannes bowl consecutive wides. O'Keefe was brilliant and even though he didn't get us across the line, he shouldn't have to take all the blame.

It should be an exciting final if this game and the last clash between the two finalists is anything to go by. It's a shame that CA has cut back on the OD comp, especially when no one goes to it. These games have proven that OD cricket is still a great format and obviously imo is much better than Twenty20.

Ha ye i forgot Victoria have lost alot of domestic ODI finals in the last couple years.

Yea if Haddin doesn't start converting his ODI starts for the remainder of the WC. I'd prefer Wade over Paine as the ODI/T20 keeper replacement.

Indeed thats the underlying problem with the test selection since 2007/08. The selectors have been trying to do that instead of picking within their limitations.

That foolishness is highlighted with how they have treated & changed spinners. They are busy looking for a next Warne & haven't realised no spinner in AUS since Warne/MacGill left is test quality (although like you i believe Krejza shold be the test spinner).
