Australian Domestic Cricket

Possibly to stumps and a bit into tomorrow. Just don't think 200 gives them any chance.

Stumps would have been my maximum, giving us 1 day and no wasting of overs due to change over. We did drop 3 chances so the move wasn't too bad just the execution.

Words can not express how frustrating it would be if he was effectively dropped in good form after being picked in terrible form. Though he was simply an injury replacement for Katich, it would be interesting if they decide that he is in their best top six.

One would have to say yes ATS. One of Watson or Katich will have to drop down the order.

Waittttt im now looking at this score-card properly. Why did NSW declare with such a low lead?. Do you have win outright to get the shield?.

If that is indeed that case (which apparently it is). CA needs to rethink that rule, since that sort of kills the game i would think. You would never see such a declaration made in a test match.

So that's why you see the team finishing 1st take two days to score what the other team did in a day ;)

One side had four Test batsmen, the other side had none. You'd damn well hope they'd be more confident. Fortunately it's not always about batsmen. There was a lot of good bowling for no reward. Several of the new ball spells were particularly interesting.

Hilfenhaus probably nailed NSW's hopes of rushing up a target by dismissing Warner; at the same time, Warner was probably their worst choice of opener (out of five options) and might have been better used later to add runs to a platform.

Even then, Katich's declaration was a good gambit and NSW might have gone to stumps with both the openers out of their way, if only they could catch. Their bowling was better, but perhaps a bit rough around the edges for a Shield final. Cummins was well out of steam by the start of the 4th innings and he shouldered a very large workload because Coyte wasn't effective. Ideally none of your fast bowlers bowl 50+ overs, but it was the first time for Cummins and he was a bit out of his depth in just his third first class match.

Yeah, it's just as if topping the ladder means Tassie are defending the trophy in a one match series.

Hey guys when do the state-to-state transfers usually occur? Is there anyone you think will be going to be switch to another state?

Then the contract lists come out in a few months I guess?

Was some chat about pinching O'Keefe. I would be surprised if NSW could maintain their 50-odd player squad.
