Another NSW player doing the business for another club. Hope the selectors don't suddenly pick Siddle based on this one performance, if he goes well through the season then he can have another go in the ODI side although he won't get many chances given he'll be on test duty.

The way that game went, they can't really afford it. They needed someone down the order who could hit the ball hard. That said, if he'd scored 50, it would have been an easy chase.

Siddle was terrible at the death, I doubt the selectors would pick him based on that match.

I'm surprised Handscomb didn't open the batting with Rogers, Maxwell would of been more use down the order. Great to see Magoffin Back.

maher not as quick, but getting good shape. paid full price for dropping short though.

hilfy looks like he's found the area for birt, pushing him back off not too short a length around off, but getting him to play and miss. second time earned a shout. bounce at the waca proving useful.

Bailey has been dropped twice and Butterworth once, so I reckon make WA pay for their uselessness tomorrow.

Ben H was apparently wayward with the new ball. WTF is wrong with these players? I swear Hilf has become a worse player since joining the Aus set-up.
