Australian Domestic Cricket

Davis added 6 runs to his average with that innings. It's shallow thinking, but it is a lot easier to praise a batsman who averages at least 35.

His average is now the same as Forrest and he seems to be in Test contention on the back of one season worth of form.

Pathetic and Disgusting comes to mind with NSW's performance. It's practically an Australia A side.

Pattinson bowled in the Futures League game today, but only given 7 overs because he's too good, taking 3/20 and retiring one hurt. Hopefully he stays off the injury list himself and continues on where he left off.

Cowan backing up his 82 with a 77* to guide Tassie home in the shield game too, booked his Caribbean ticket by now surely. Too bad Bird couldn't get a second 10-fer in only his 5th match, but 32 wickets is pretty sweet.

That is what you want to see from your Australia quick.

And likewise your Australian opener. Cutting's batting is becoming very useful lately.

Alright guys, enough is enough. Why do we need to keep talking about NSW? What about Pattinson and Cowan and those guys?

.. or switch to something positive. NSW plays WA tomorrow in the last regular season one-dayer. A bonus point win should see us jump to 3rd on the table, still missing the final, but well a 3rd and a 1st in 3 comps for the season isn't bad :p

Bowling well the debutant, using the conditions to his advantage. Hopefully Robinson doesn't dig in as he usually does.
