Australian Domestic Cricket

Lee, Johnson and Bollinger is probably our best attack. Bracken has started to slip of late, before his injury he was struggling to take wickets and his economy wasn't up to his usual standards. Still we have very good depth now with McKay, Bracken and Siddle capable backups.

I'm hearing Khawaja could be out for a year with a suspected broken thumb from grade cricket.

Hilfenhaus is a bit expensive in ODI cricket, but he has had some great matches. Prior to last summer he was pretty good in ODIs though.

That Khawaja news is disappointing. First Ferguson, and now him. Both on the brink of the test team (a lot less so Khawaja though).

Seems that Khawaja stuff was just a rumour. NSW batting first, teams:

NSW: Simon Katich (capt), Nathan Bracken, Moises Henriques, Phillip Hughes, Phillip Jaques, Usman Khawaja, Grant Lambert, Daniel Smith, Steven Smith, Mitchell Starc, David Warner. 12th man: Ben Rohrer.

SA: Graham Manou (capt), Cameron Borgas, Daniel Christian, Tom Cooper, Michael Cranmer, Jake Haberfield, Daniel Harris, Michael Klinger, Aaron O'Brien, Gary Putland, Shaun Tait. 12th man: Cullen Bailey

New South Wales v South Australia game?

Hey,

I've been trying to find the score on this game so far, but I can't find it anywhere. I went on the live feed on cricinfo and all it says is that NSW are batting. Anyone got any idea what's going on?

Cheers!

Stupid slow CA ffs, and no commentary :(

Doesn't anybody know any radio's that are broadcasting the current NSW v SA match?

Pissing myself laughing at Tait's 11 ball over :rtfl :hpraise

WTF is happening with CA?

Suddenly Warner is batting and the score is 3/183 from 8.3 :laugh

Smith definitely is our best OD batter atm, once again stood up. Warner certainly going nicely down the order 65 off 40.

I am hoping its not a horses for courses thing for Smith with his bat/bowl combo. He might be a better option to replace Craig White (if necessary).

Lol, thank goodness.

Pretty good total from NSW, 296ao from 50 overs. South Australia in trouble, 121/4 from 27. Klinger carries on his good form, unbeaten with 65 from 80.

I was thinking last night, Warner wouldn't go to badly in the middle order for Australia. Only thing is, it's completely full (and overflowing!).

Ferguson still in the frame after he comes back?

Lol, thank goodness.

Maybe not, he didn't play this match. If hes not in the Shield side then hes definitely injured.

Great to see Christian performing with the bat again, if he can get his batting up he can make it as a batting all rounder. Its about time we started picking more than 2 specialist bowlers, even grade cricketers would be better than the bits and pieces players we have now.
