Haurtiz must think hey the selectors won't pick me on my bowling so I might as well become a batsmen. O'Keefe average will take a hit with that low score but his bowling is the main thing. Maddinson is such a talent, hes now doing a Hughes.

Selectors are in a bit of trouble with Beer, looked average against Tassie and they will need to pick a spinner at the SCG unless Smith is going to fill that role.

Well he got another century. No wonder he ended up having a yard sale

Michael Beer was the biggest shamble selection I've ever seen, no kidding. Its a slap in the face to Hauritz. There is no other reason one could fathom as to why they'd pick Beer. Because he showed heart and determination ?

My white ass, my aging grandfather could play with tons of grit, yet does that mean he's able to take it to the Ashes arena ? No. Back to Beer, after only playing 5 FC matches - although they probably did take into account the tour match against England, its still shouldn't suffice a Test spot let alone a possible series-changing match.

Now the selectors are in a conundrum in regards to Beer. I for one think it'd be time to call it a night on Beer.

Going to the match today. Pretty big game for Tassie. If we win this then we should make the final.

Going to just my second NSW game this season tomorrow. Been slack with my attendances this season, no Shield days, just the one Ryobi cup match at Hurstville oval. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Haha, I've only just been to the one Shield game against Tassie this season - but then again, I went to see every day of play for that match.

You going to the any of the Big Bash matches ?

I usually go to a fair few Shields, so disappointed with myself haha.

I might head out to one, I hate trekking it to ANZ though haha. You going to them?

Only two :p

Against Tassie and the Bulls. Hopefully we make the finals again though, missed out last time.

That Beaton looks a talent, just scored over a run a ball in his 2nd match. If WA could put him and Mitch Marsh together, their OD side is looking very good.

Not sure whether Beaton can play properly or not. I was at the game last night and he seemed to me to be a T/20 player.
