EDIT - On the bat issue. After this match im planning on whiping all my downloads and then downloading all the top stuff. the unique face patch player editor all the updated rosters etc etc. all the bats aswell so that the vb series as realistic as possible. probably a good idea yeah?

Yep, that's a great idea. Also, you're currently using the 2GB Batpack, right?

Cosgrove Reaches Milestone - Australia 2/94

Mark Cosgrove continued his impressive start to his international career with an unbeaten half century to take Australia to 2/94. Cosgrove belted 8 boundaries and a six in his 33 ball knock which has put Australia in a strong position towards the back end of the match.

Yeah, the most recent batpack (The 4GB batpack, which also includes the uniquefacepatch and the updated roster) has an expanded number of 55 bats, and they're all assigned to the correct players- I think.
Anyway, class innings from Cosgrove, hopefully he can build from this platform now to boost the total.

Cosgrove Falls To Kumble - Australia 3/107

A powerful innings from debuton Mark Cosgrove has come to an end at the hands of Anil Kumble as Australia lost their 3rd wicket with the score on 107. Cosgrove was eventually dismissed for 63 from only 40 balls after Kumble managed to sneak one in between bat and pad as Cosgrove looked to drive down the field.

It was an impressive debut from Cosgrove, who may have earnt himself a place in the one day squad for the upcoming VB series.

Keeper Cashes In - 3/133 (15.0)

Stand in wicketkeeper Brad Haddin showed he has the powerful game capable of replacing Adam Gilchrist with the gloves when the Western Australian does not play. Haddin raced to 24 from 15 balls as Australia stormed to 3/133 from 15 overs at a run rate of 8.86 per over with the field scattered to all parts of the ground. Anil Kumble 1/13 (3.0) has done a great job in restricting the home side.

Clarke Falls In The Deep - Australia 4/135

Michael Clarke's innings ended prematurely while the talented batsman was on 11 as Australia slipped to 4/135. Clarkes 14 ball 11 unfortunatly did not show the full potential of the young New South Wales star. However Clarke's dismissal brought crowd favourite Andrew Symonds to the crease.

Yuvraj Too Quick For Symonds - 5/156

Yuvraj Singh proved his is deadly with the arm as he ran out Andrew Symonds for only 12 as Australia dropped to 5/156. Symonds attempted to steal a quick single to mid on, however Yuvraj made ground quickly to release the ball with his right hand and hit the stumps, Symonds still meters from the crease.

Haddin Guides Aussies - Australia 5/174 (20.0)

Brad Haddin was the middle order star for Australia as the home side posted 5/174 from its 20 alotted overs, a run rate of 8.7 per over. Wicketkeeper Haddin impressed selectors with an unbeaten 45 from 31 balls as the home side set India a target of 175 runs to win the Twenty20 clash.

Anil Kumble was the pick of the Indian bowlers with 2/16 from his 4 overs, containing Brad Haddin and Mark Cosgrove during the middle order. But the Australian innings belonged to debuton Cosgrove who scored 63 from only 40 balls infront of selectors ahead of the VB series.

(Brad Haddin remained not out for Australia with 45 not out)

Scorecards And Statistics

Young stars Brad Haddin and Mark Cosgrove were the leading lights for the Australians as they made it to 5/174 from their 20 overs. Anil Kumble was Indias saving grace with 2/16 from 4.

Excellent innings by Cosgrove and Haddin. For India apart from Kumble the other's have conceded far too many imo.Should be tough for India to chase this one taking into consideration their inexperience in this format of the game.

Good Batting by Cosgrove and Haddin!

Presentation is top notch!

Keep it up,

Run Chase Begins

Indian openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir will attempt to get off to a flying start against the new opening bowling combination of Shaun Tait and Nathan Bracken as they look to chase down the 175 runs required for victory.
