:Good evening Ladies and gentlemen, here is a brand new anchor for this pre match as well as Post match show especially designed for the two T20i's, The Warne - Thrope T20 Championship, Its Kevin Pietersen here. And today here, we have someone special here. Here, I take pleasure in introducing the one and only man, for whom, I replaced in English Side, Its Graham Thorpe. Good evening Graham. How're you?
23k2i3k.png
: Good evening Kev. I'm fine thank you. And can I expect an update on your injury?
a3gh3m.png
: Its getting healed up. And now, let me introduce another guest here. The next guest here is the one and only.... Adam Gilchrist! Good evening Gilly. How're you?
d5nir.png
: Good evening mates, and I'm feeling sad that I din't get any chance to play any T20's here at England:p.
a3gh3m.png
: But mates, I'm feeling sad today cos its raining at Old Trafford.:crying. Now, we'll have some live scenes from Old Trafford. Players haven't still come out for practice. But good news here is we've got drizzling stopped and the water has not stayed on the out field or ground. The Lancashire CCC, which renovated the ground drain facility recently has helped here today.

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen. The same is the situation at the Old Trafford. But not, lets share some interesting moments of these two legends present here. First, Gilly, Were you actually under pressure when you hit that 109* against Mumbai in IPL?
d5nir.png
: Well, tbh, not at all cos its a format which you've to play for entertainment, not for winning or losing.
a3gh3m.png
: And did you miss a T20 century at Centurion in this edition of IPL? You scored 85 off 35 balls, and there were many overs to go. Why did you take that kinda risk?
d5nir.png
: Well, I surely missed a ton there but tbh, I myself din't knew that I was on 85. I was thinking that I somewhere on 65 or 70, But when the DJ shouted the score, I felt pretty sad.
a3gh3m.png
: Stumpy, what do you do if you're a skipper here today? Will you bat or will you bowl? Old Trafford hosted a T20i match between England and Pakistan, where a mammoth total of 207 was easily chased down. But seeing the conditions today, its raining! So, what will the pitch behave as?
23k2i3k.png
: Well, I'll bowl first if I win the toss here as its raining since a week here, so, the bowlers will have some edge. And the way I see this ground, its a breezy place, not big stands, so, the ball will swing a lot. So, If I were the toss winning skipper, I'll go on for a field.
a3gh3m.png
: And Whabbout you Gilly? What would you do if you're the toss winning skipper?
d5nir.png
: I echo Stumpy! And even the reason for which I echo is same!
a3gh3m.png
: Hmm... Now mates, Its KP signing off. Meanwhile, have a glance at the Highlights of recently concluded Ashes 5th test. We'll be updating you all the information for every 15 minutes.

a typical english day....:facepalm :laugh KP hosting his own show, what happened to holding, gower and the others???
great stuff with the ads..:p

You using PCCS? I really need a db so I can do a story!

TBF, I've edited only two teams with the T20 squads. So that might not help you TBH. But still, I'll send you that as it may be bit helpful to my younger brother:).
And I'll send it after I even complete the English squad:).

Binnu added 14 Minutes and 35 Seconds later...

I actually dunno who actually host Pre Match shows etc etc, but I but KP to make the show interesting:) and even, he was not playing cricket for some days.:)

Good innovative try but make sure that story line is not getting deviated :) Keep it up.

Good update mate but it was really unexpected to see KP presenting the match.

Just to let you know Advertisement idea is kool. I somehow got to your story and the tag line of MaD tempted me to look at Einstein's story - which is pretty kool in my view.

Cheers for innovative thinking. You are going to be the next Lalit Modi. ;)

I got that advertisement idea when I was writing my English examination:p.
In that test, we'll be given an advertisement and we need to answer questions related to that. I finished my exam 45 mins early and started thinking off, where I got this idea:p;).

And I reckon you'll name me Lalit Modi after a match gets finished;):p:laugh

:Good evening Ladies and gentlemen, Its KP back into this special pre match and post match program "Scoop Shot" for the two T20i's between England and Australia. The covers have been taken off, Umpires have tested the surface and declared that conditions are fit for a match, but the only sad news is the match is truncated to 9 overs per side. So, lets now head to the toss, which is being held by Tony Greig.

16laadl.png

Tony Greig: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, its the toss time at Old Trafford. The Match has been truncated to 9 overs per side, in which each bowler can bowl 2 overs, with one getting only one over. Now, before we start the proceedings, I'd take pleasure in introducing the men over here.
Its Australian Skipper Cameron White, along with English Skipper Paul Collingwood. Next to them is the match referee Javagal Srinath.
Now, its Collingwood to spin, White to call.
White: Heads......
Javagal Srinath: Its a head, gentlemen.
Tony Greig: Australia has won the coin toss. White, what are you gonna do?
Cameron White: We'll have a bat first, even though it has rained, the sun has come up and it looks like a pure batting surface.
Tony Greig: Well, is David Hussey in?
Cameron White: Yeah, the injury has successfully healed up, and he's in.
Tony Greig: Good luck with this game:thumbs, thank you for your time here.
Cameron White: Cheers mate, thanks:).
Tony Greig: That was Cameron White, the Australian skipper. Now, lets head to Paul Collingwood. How important is this toss Paul?
Paul Collingwood: Well, its a toss, which we wanted to win and choose to bat on. But tough luck, and hope this luck doesn't carry even for the result of game.
Tony Greig: Hooh.. Experts are commenting that its a bowling surface, but you even would have opted is you'd have won the toss. What is making you do that mate?
Paul Collingwood: Well, its a pure batting surface and the breeze is the only factor, which can support bowlers here. But unfortunately, there is not much breeze since couple of days here, so, even though it has rained, the match will be a big scoring one.
Tony Grieg: What are the players you are playing?
Paul Collingwood: Well, there is no change from the expected line up which I told yesterday.
Tony Greig: Thankyou for your time here Paul, good luck for the game:thumbs.
Paul Collingwood: Cheers mate, Thankyou:).
Tony Greig: Well thats the news from the center, Cameron White has won the toss and decided that Australia will be batting first.

Now, lets have a look at this pitch, it looks hard and flat, so, I'm expecting some fireworks here from batsmen like Warner, White, Bopara, Shah. There are small cracks here in a very small area at the middle, which can effect the bounce, but in T20's Bowlers generally try bowling at block holes, so it might not be a problem.

a3gh3m.png
: Well, the teams were fancied to bat first, what do you comment on it Gilly?
d5nir.png
: Well, after seeing the pitch there, I was shocked how they could maintain such well from the rain. I expected the water to leak in and make the pitch bit wet after that horrible rain since days. So, If I were the toss winning captain after seeing the pitch, I'd have definitely chosen to bat first.
a3gh3m.png
: What do ya think Stumpy?
23k2i3k.png
: Well, I'd echo Gilly, but If breeze gets in, bowlers may have upper hand. This decision stands good until the breeze gets in.
a3gh3m.png
: Now lets head to a short break, when we get back, we'll have line ups with us:).

: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, Now we are with the line ups.
nffao.jpg
Here is the Australian Like up gentlemen, David Warner and Shane Watson to start the proceedings, with a Tassie taking the role of a Tassie;). Tim Paine replaces Ricky Ponting at No.3, Then, we've got Cameron White, David Hussey and Lee Carseldine to follow who can create havocs. Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee and Nathan Haurtiz even can bat at times, and Nannes and Tait Gonna rock with the ball as they're pretty inexperienced with bat. But when we have a look at bowling, Shaun Tait, Brett lee, Mitchell Johnson, Dirk Nannes and Nathan Hauritz! OMG!! This is the best bowling order in the world IMO.
And here we go with English line up:
hwjo0p.jpg
Ravi Bopara is the players whom we know. If he gets off to a good flier, English Middle order need not worry much about their job, but the others here, Joe Denly and Jonathan Trott are the players to watch out for. They performed well in past, but we'll have to look how good they can play here. Middle order is looking strong with Paul Collingwood, Owais Shah, Matt prior and Luke Wright. Broad and Swann can help a bit up with Bat, if required. Anderson and Sidebottom are the ones, who can be excused if they don't perform well with bat as they are pure bowlers. But English Bowling is looking pretty strong. Broad, Sidebottom, Anderson, Swann are the ones who have to provide English a good start!
The players have huddled up and now, whats your call Stumpy. Who'll win?
23k2i3k.png
: Its pretty difficult, but I'd go with England... Nopes... Australia!
a3gh3m.png
: Whabbout you Gilly?
d5nir.png
: Hmm... I'll go with Australia!
a3gh3m.png
: Well, we've got a small competition here at scoop shot. Predict the Winner of this game and get 20k vCash:).
Now, lets join commentators for today, Ian Botham and Shane Warne.
