Here we are for the first time in Australian Domestic Cricket history is the first Rookie selection draw. The rules are that each state have to select 3 players in the order that they finished in last seasons Pura Cup, for example if QLD finished first they would get to pick at 6,12 and 18, if QLD finished last they would pick at 1,7 and 13 what this does is give the top 18 youth players of Australia the opportunity to play state cricket and to even them out fairly amongst each state.
