Western Australia's No 1 pick was Shantanu Ambekar the talent all rounder .
Here is what he said at the press

It is dream to play for Western Australia . I am really excited to play alongside to big players like Hussey , Hogg , North and many more . I have set some goals for myself . They are
* To make debut for Western Australia in all the competitions .
* To atleast score a 50 and take 2 wickets .
* To beat Queensland Bulls and Tasmania.

Its gonna be a great experience to play against the likes of Ponting , Lee , Symonds . And other players who have been dominant in Australia road to Glory .

Round 2 complete​

What a round we had here this evening, lets see who joined who at each club.

Queensland picked Avroneel Biswas (WORLD CHAMPIONS) as there 2nd round pick, this young all rounder is a very talented middle order batter, but its his left arm pace bowling is what everyone should be eager to see, he is bowling at around 140km mark, and will surely add to that when he starts training.

South Australia have choosen Karachi Xpress this talented opening batsman will be what SA were looking for after Matthew Elliot retired last season, especially watch out for him during the Pura Cup as he is a very patient player and should cause bowlers a few headaches.

Tasmania have gone for Kieron Tierney (Giggity Giggity) the top order batsman from the QLD bush, he should be a very good buy for TAS as they have been having problems in top order for the past few years, is this the answer?

Western Australia have gone with Tom Bevan (gillyhuss'n'roy) no relation to Michael though (I think?) the young all rounder who is preety handy at bowling by swinging the ball into the batsman, this guy has been causing alot of damage in club level of late. Can he do it this season and retain a permanent spot?

Victoria Ollie Holden (holdenator)has been choosen by Victoria to be batting with some exciting fringe players this season. This talented right hand batsman has been raking up the runs at club level ammassing 6 centuries and out scoring the 2nd best batsman by 400 runs, hopefully this form may continue for the upcoming season.

New South Wales were the last to pick during round 2 and have gone with yet another bowler in Jack Teague (treva) who was the number 1 bowler for od and 3day games for his club, his medium pacers are a very misguiding, as batsman just can't seem to be able to play him consistently, this guy picked up the wicket of Ollie Holden (holdenator) twice in a 3day game to give Ollie Holden a combined score of 3, this guy should be a great inclusion to NSW.
