Australian Tour of India, October 2010/11

I just saw the scorecard and saw has a quickfire century. He is scoring almost run-a-ball.

I don't understand why Australia isn't declaring. It's a three day match. The bowlers need to get some practice as well and 487-3 is enough I would say. If Australia doesn't declare on 500 runs it's bad captaincy from Ponting.

They I think want to gibe Smith and Paine all the time to see what wickets in India cannot do. :)

Ponting keeps his Indian form alive. :D

Might as well declare now, don't tire out the bowlers, they will start bowling on a flat pitch anyway.

Huh, North gets a century. Bet you he doesn't do the same when the first Test rolls around.

Typical North, scores the 100 when he needs it. Don't know what Ponting is doing batting on with the tailenders.

So much for flat track. :p

I hope all bowlers pick 4 wickets each to keep Aussies selection in dilemma with Bollinger set to return.

Last time we toured India I thought Gambhir looked rock solid, like no bowler was getting through him, was surprised back then that Sehwag didnt pull off one of his trademark home 200's against us, seems to do at least one crazy innings every season in India.

Yes if not when North retired, at least when Smith got out...would have been 6-10 more overs for the bowlers. If the last tour against Pakistan was an indicator, when the bowlers had just one day of bowling in the warmup game - it's not going to be pretty. At least they'll get a day and a half this time, and hopefully it's spent giving the more important guys a bowl, not Katich, North etc.

****en ████.

Rahane, Tiwary, Pujara all the young ones failing, that's a setback to us. crap batting, though Chawla played an unexpected innings and hope that he can get his century.

Please let Gauti stay away from the team for a while and should be sent back to Ranji if he'll continue his shitty performances.
I can't see BPXI even drawing it from now on.:doh

Sehwag got a few 90s in that series if I`m correct. That contributed to our healthy runrates and served the purpose with the middle order cashing in.

Has Sreesanth taught you anything?
"I am a quick learner, but I am in no mood to learn anything from Sreesanth."

Along with that gem, my hope for Chawla has suddenly been rekindled. Burly midgets are the way forward.

Piyush > all our other all rounder tools.

Looks like George will be a decent backup to have in the bag. Johnson has started the tour right so that is a good sign.

Unexpected innings from Piyush, but others have failed emphatically. Sad to see Pujara fail just when he is knocking on a final XI selection for the tests. Gambhir will be back. He is our best test batsman in recent times. And even if one of our openers are injured, Murali Vijay is there as an able backup.

The tests will be a different ball game. Will Dhoni, Raina switch quickly to test mode after the CLT20 win?
