Safe to assume this is Pontings last Test tour to India and last chance to set the record straight?

You'd think it will be his last Indian test tour, but i dont see anything being different this time, unfortunately. Love Punter, hope he has a big one but i'm not hopeful.

Krejza didn't have a great season last year, ended up being dropped from the tasmanian shield side. Bowled too defensively Imo. The best two spinners last season were McGain (considered too old now, and had a shocker first test) and O'Keefe who played in the "A" side over the winter

Piyush seems to be batting superbly. Is he doing it against Australia's pacemen or is he getting the runs off the spinners? Thats a bloody good performance going by the quality of the bowling that Australia have unleashed for this game.

Overall a good bowling performance, especially considering that we got 3 centuries in the 1st innings (with 2 of 'em retired).

Still concerned over Smith though, I expect Watson to bowl more overs than him (and make more of an impact) and his batting against Kaneria looked really bad in England. He is by far our weakest link.

Strange to see us batting again (would have thought the spinners would have liked a little more time). Maybe it's a tactic to stop Gambhir getting a hit. And why is Ponting opening? Is there a problem with Katto or does Punter just want the practice?

Ponting failed with the bat. Personally I would say, since Ponting is out, Australia should declare or let the batsmen bat, who didn't have enough batting practice, like Clarke, Paine and the Australian bowlers.

If that is not going to happen Australia should declare and the Australia spinners should bowl as much as possible.

Ignore the trolls. As long as you provide people with a medium to air their views, these trolls will take advantage of it to vent out their frustrations. Rediff is one another site where trolls are rampant talking about various stupid theories, always posting abuse on everyone, etc. We got to give a deaf ear to it. People know the truth.

Facebook has become completely hopeless. They've done almost everything they can to make it easy for people to be stupid to the largest possible audience. Even 4chan has better quality control. FB integration on sites like cricinfo is just disgusting.

The current display has no sense at all. Australia lead by 450 runs and they're still batting. :laugh And the batsmen who need runs in the second innings are getting out cheaply.

The Australian bowlers bowled only together 45.5 overs.

I just don't get why Australia is still batting. Are they trying not give bowlers bowling practice or are they trying Indian bowlers to find weakness about Australian batsman and improve their bowling?
