Australian Tour of India, October 2010/11

I think it is pretty much even. The Sehwag factor eliminates this sliver of a lead pretty easily IMHO. It is going to be a challenge for India to take 10 more wickets, but on a turning day 4 track I reckon Bhaj and Ojha will be crucial. Zaheer as usual needs to get the early breakthroughs and keep the pressure on Australia.

I think Sehwag too will have a role to play with the ball.

Anything 350 odd on the last day and we have a huge chance. All our batsman are in form and if Laxman can get fit even better.

Sehwag's batting isn't a major factor in the 4th innings of a match as he averages just over 28.

if australia are capable of scoring 350 on the 4th day on an india wicket it's very unlikely we'll get a result. (unless it's down to a truely magnificent innings from someone in the team)

if the pitch is breaking up enough 250 would be enough to make things interesting.

india have played this match a bowler and a batsman less than australia and the advantage has barely told. so I still think india are favourites if there is to be a result at all.

If India can get wickets quickly, we need not rely on Ponting's declaration. The key would be wickets and getting it quickly. But the Turbanator switches himself completely on!

This will be a close game, I feel. So far, its playing according to the script where one side inches up and the other side pulls it back. Similar thing happening in the next two days will be great

Simple instructions for India go there toil hard get early wickets and then remove the rest of the batting as welll looks simple but really hard to do so.Alsoo indian fielding will play a major role if they want to get the rid of Aussies.

If Australia gets to 350 and gives themselves enough time to bowl India out, as someone else said, the match will probably be a draw.

I personally think 250-275 will be enough on this pitch which means Australia will be looking to bat all day today and maybe an hour on Day 5 to push the score up a bit higher.

The surface is more abrasive now so the reverse swing will start earlier, meaning the Aussie bowlers would be a handful on Day 5. Sehwag is a liability in the 4th innings, if he actually scores big the Aussies should consider themselves unlucky.

i don't think scorring 300 runs today and getting out will seel the match for Austrlia remember how quality hitters India have.So it'll be good for Aussies to get their heads down and keep playing

I was figuring Watson is due, but if he can't nick himself out, then maybe he will go on again.

Ishant Sharma blows. How does he still get selected.
Sreesanth is better than Ishant. And the biggest mistake done is not selecting Mithun in the squad. He was too good during his debut series. :)

I thought only Dilhara Fernando could do that with no balls. Ishant is the best. :doh

Amir and Asif could learn a few things from ishant. When you are this bad no one will ever suspect you.
