Well as you can see, Tait bowled with great pace and good control. it was a short ball kind of night, because the full ball was easier to time and none of the pacemen dared to bowl a full toss. Siddle went for runs, but his persistent bowling of the stock ball was what netted the key Gilchrist wicket. As the numbers show, he kept firing in the 90 mile balls, but for economy he could better implement a slower ball as McKay showed. Indeed it was a dead heat between McKay and McGrath, each snaring 3/18.

I like what I see from McKay. Will be in Australia's ODI and T20 outfit for a long time.
