Well, Perth Lions are the team to look out for as they announced their 10 men domestic squad and with the players they bought in the auction. Cash Convertors bought the team and made a great choice in buying the team as Perth has some tremndous domestic talent. The five uncapped players announced were Liam Davies, A short, aggressive opening batsman, Michael Johnson A Scarborough wicketkeeper who received a rookie contract for the last season,Brad Knowles, a right-arm fast bowler,Nathan Rimmington, A right-arm fast bowler & Nathan Coulter-Nile another right arm fast.
Among the capped players, Michael Hussey, Marcus North, Luke Pomersbach, Shaun Marsh & Adam Voges were selected. The domestic squad really looks threatning and it would be difficult to beat a team of this caliber. Amongst the international players, Perth Lions signed Lasith Malinga for a price of 800,000$, Ross Taylor for a price of 750,000$, Daniel Vettori for a price of 450,000, Irfan Pathan for a price of 280,000 & Abhimanyu Mithun for a price of 120,000$

Well, Trinidad Flyers owned by Vodafone looks the best Caribbean side. They have enormous domestic talent and have signed the perfect international talent. Blue Black Red kit team matches the quality of Perth Lions and will definitely go in the tournament as favorites.
Trinidad signed Justin Gullien a left hand batsman, Jason Mohammed a hard hitting middle order batsman, Sherwin Ganga an all rounder who bats left handed and bowls off break, Kevon Cooper a medium pace bowling all rounder & Samuel Badree the legbreak bowler as their 5 domestic uncapped players.
From capped players, Trinidad were allowed to sign the Jamaican heavyweight boy Christopher Gayle, Darren Bravo, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard & Ravi Rampaul. It was an interesting selection down by Trinidad franchise as they left out their keeper Dinesh Ramdin, batsman Lendl Simmons & opening batsman Adrian Barath.
In the international auction, Trinidad signed the Sri Lankan ex skipper Kumar Sangakkara for 325,000$, Indian dashing opener Virender Sehwag for 475,000$, Netherlands all rounder Ryan Ten Doeschate for 275,000$, Zaheer Khan for 325,000$ & Trent Johnston the Irish bowling all rounder for 200,000$. The auction was well executed as they bought some amazing players and still had 900,000$ left.
