What a brilliant effort that was to beat a strong side like Khulna without a full strength side of ours. Naeem Islam and the keeper Dhiman Ghosh were instrumental in getting us past 200 when Khulna's strong bowling attack had spun a web around us.
Later, we got some of their key players like Sangakkara, Nafees and Ten Doeschate out cheaply which helped our cause along with some very tight bowling by all our regular bowlers. Their old timer Rafique gave us bit of a scare there before we finally sealed the win

I am, in the end, satisfied with the way things went. Our 2 allrounders, Arafat and Alok were the biggest pluses of the match. They have shown that they can score runs against a good bowling attack and chip in with wickets too. Their form will go a long way in bettering the balance of our side. That said, I'd have liked the top 4 to fire, especially Chaudhary and Trott who hold very pivotal positions in our plans. Hope they score in the game to follow and the rest of the tournament.
