Chahal has to play. The Bangladeshi batsmen struggled against him and he was the only bowler who I thought made a difference last match. Not sure about Khaleel though. And Samson might get a game replacing Pant.

Facts-:

Whatever experiment they have to do do that before 2020 T20 WC and ICC World Test Championship and we should finalize players we will play
The No 4 spot for India has been always a havoc for selectors.Even till today they are unable to find that player and thats the core issue and problem
of our defeat in big matchesAlways players swapped changed for that position. What you say regarding this?

Update-1:(About Dhoni Commentary)

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who bid adieu to Test cricket in 2014, is likely to begin his new innings as a commentator when India take on Bangladesh in the day-night Test to be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata
The broadcasters have sent the proposal but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to give permission

"Yes, the broadcasters have sent the proposal but no decision has been taken as of now... If BCCI gives the permission, then Dhoni would be seen doing commentary in day-night Test to be played at the Eden Gardens," a BCCI source said.

Dhoni hasn't played any international cricket since India lost to New Zealand in the semifinal of the ICC World Cup earlier this year in England. Speculation has been rife about Dhoni's future plans in international cricket, but he himself hasn't spoken anything about it.

Update-2(Gilchrist says about Dhoni and Pant)

Former Australia cricketer Adam Gilchrist believes Rishabh Pant -- who has been in the firing line ever since the ICC World Cup -- shouldn't try to be the next MS Dhoni and instead should work on improving his own game and being the best version of himself.

Ever since Pant replaced Dhoni in the limited-overs circuit, he has been criticised by many, be it for his batting, wicket-keeping skills or be his role when it comes to reviews. In the recent T20I in the national capital, the 21-year-old received a lot of flak after India lost their first-ever game to Bangladesh.

However, Gilchrist believes the Indian fans should avoid comparing Pant with Dhoni. "I'm not big on comparisons, like I have said before. I think Indians fans shouldn't be trying to compare him to Dhoni. Dhoni has set such a high benchmark. One day someone might match it but it is probably unlikely," Gilchrist said on the sidelines of a promotional event by Tourism Western Australia.

"Rishabh looks like a very talented young player. Just don't put too much pressure on him too early and expect that he's going to produce Dhoni-like performances every day," he added. The 47-year-old further said: "My advice to Rishabh Pant will be: learn everything you can from Dhoni. Don't try to be Dhoni. Just try to be the best Rishabh Pant you can."

Conclusion:We should believe in player if we really want him to play just knocking out at bad forms wont help us also at same time we should have backup.

Indian team heavily relies on few players which is worst reason and that why we lose big tournaments example like 2019 WC when Rohit failed vs NZ
Even you see 2014 t20 world cup, champions trophy even 2011 world cup etc our team won or lost depending solely to 1-2 players totally which should not be
In overseas it just get harder only 1-2 player perform others just sleep. This should be heavily improved as all gets paid to play not only one

:yes

Completely disagree. 2011 WC was an entire team effort. Tendulkar was the highest run-scorer for India. Zaheer Khan was the leading wicket taker for the tournament, Gambhir chipped in with few runs match after match, Dhoni played a big innings in the Final, Sehwag hammered a knockout punch right on the first match. At last Yuvraj Singh was the Man of the tournament. Also not to forget the contribution of Bhajji, Chawla and Ashwin who always got wickets in the middle overs. And don't forget it was the first WC for Kohli who did equally well.

And Champions Trophy ? Come on !!! We had made a bold move of leaving out all our senior players and played the entire tournament with a young side and in all departments we did well.

Note:90% matches we won because of toss except 2011 final

2011 WC:We heavily dependent on Yuyraj Singh in Quarters and finals Dhoni
Sachin truly got many chances vs Pak in semi final

Champions trophy:In finals we made a blunder to bowl first a crazy haunted decision
also they batted like all forgot how to bat

2014 t20 wc:Lost all dependent on Kohli vs Srilanka and toss

What about overseas mainly kohli performs well or remember the white-wash and worst performances in England

Virat single handedly won many matches where all were failed!! and when he loses
it 80% happens we lose

For 2nd T20, Playing XI should be for India.

1. Rohit Sharma :c:
2. Shikhar Dhawan
3. KL Rahul
4. Shreyas Iyer
5. Sanju Samson
6. Rishabh Pant :wkb:
7. Shivam Dube
8. W Sundar
9. Deepak Chahar
10. Khaleel Ahmed
11. Rahul Chahar / Y Chahal
Batting is strong till W Sundar. Then they can either score big or they can chase big as well.

You do need to remember he scored 138 against England and 124 against South Africa where he didn't gave any chance to the opposition until he got out.

2011 WC:We heavily dependent on Yuyraj Singh in Quarters and finals Dhoni

What about Suresh Raina's cameo in the quarter Finals ?
What about Gambhir's 97 and Kohli's 37 in the Final ?

That was in 2017 and not 2013. 2013 was a complete team effort and brilliant Captaincy from Dhoni.

90% matches we won because of toss

Ok let us talk about tosses since 2015 WC

In ODIs

106 tosses
India won- 49
Matches won- 72

In Tests

51 tosses
India won- 26
Matches won- 33
Matches drawn- 9

In T20Is

68 tosses
India won- 27
Matches won- 44

When England toured India in 2016, England won 4 out of 5 tosses but the end result was India won the series 4-0.

In the 3rd Test v/s South Africa at Johannesburg in 2018, South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first on a green turf with unpredictable bounce which was more than usual. India won by 48 runs at the end.

In the 3rd Test v/s England at Nottingham in 2018, England won the toss and elected to bowl first and went on to lose the match by 250+ runs !!!

It is usual that every team who wins the toss has more chances of winning as they know better that what they have to do. But results don't always depend on tosses.

This Indian side has played better Cricket Overseas than what people in rest of the world thought of and they can do even better than that. This team has 4 genuine pacers, 2 all rounders and a more than decent batting line-up. It comes down to the confidence of players when it comes to their batting. When they would play confidently this side would be tough to beat anywhere in the world for any opposition.

You talked about Bilateral series now what happened in recent world cup,2014 t20 world cup and champions trophy?
I am talking about current condition Why India has been dissapointing in knockout stages?

Lets stay focused on the main topic, which is india vs bangladesh series. I think these kind of discussions belongs to the india team thread.

Bangladesh clearly looking on a rampage in this series. Could be end of the series today itself if we keep conceding runs like this.[DOUBLEPOST=1573134823][/DOUBLEPOST]Khaleel needs to bowl fuller lengths. He can't keep on bowling short like this if he wants to stay in contention for selection in future series.

Oh my God !!!! What has Pant done over here ! :facepalm
Another keeping error this one. Too hard on the youngster though as it was very marginal.

Oh no Rohit !!! :facepalm

What is happening with the Indian team today. A stumping error called as a no-ball and a catch being dropped from the skipper.

Finally after all that drama we have our first wicket!! :cheers Brilliant run-out from Pant![DOUBLEPOST=1573136007][/DOUBLEPOST]Indian fielding is a comedy of errors today. :lol

Big wicket that ! Mushfiqur Rahim is such a dangerous batsman when he gets going. And to get him out at this stage of the game is a big blow. Some really good fielding placements from Rohit. Chahal gets a wicket on a leg stump full toss.
