Australia's tour of India 2019

Bhuvi is batting like a dream here! I hope I don't jinx him, but this is sensational stuff!

Jadhav was trying to do a Dhoni by not going for the big ones early enough. TBH, the Dhoni formula was based mostly on luck. Pure logic states that when you let the rate balloon too big, you put too much pressure on yourself and give more weight to the "luck factor". One wicket and your innings is cut short and the team loses.

Nobody else can do a Dhoni anymore. Not even Dhoni himself. That tactic is fraught with so much risk.

Atleast Shami and Kuldeep should show some intent to keep the competition alive but they won't :facepalm

That was a very good innings from Bhuvi. That too evenly paced at a good strike rate. I felt Jadhav played a tad too slow leading up the final 10 overs. He perhaps could've attacked a bit more given that he and Bhuvi seemed settled after those initial overs in their partnership. Nevertheless, it's still a good sign to see some lower order runs being scored, a very weak area for India.

But on the whole, I don't think anyone expected Australia to win this series. They played some excellent cricket all-round with some good finds. Khawaja could a perfect batting partner to Warner in the WC. They've found a strong finisher in Ashton Turner, and a good player of spin in Handscomb. Zampa bowled quite well in this series, a spin bowler Aus can settle on for the WC. Pat Cummins has had an impressive 2019 so far, this series represents it. At this stage, I don't see why they can't defend their title if their team fires altogether, with the inclusion of Smith and Warner imminent in the coming future.

I expected Australia to win 3-2 but not after being 2-0

Kohli at the toss said that this is more or less the WC balance and then in the post match said this was just trial and error? :lol

At least some of you will get a break from these absurd selections. I will have to tolerate it even during the next two months.

I pity you that you've to support RCB because of AB! :p

I have now given up. I know he will never be part of a winning IPL team. Just enjoying his last few days as a batter while I can. Obviously, I don't think Kohli will drop AB. If that happens, I think I will do something.
