Although I'm the reigning champion I didn't actually win a single race throughout the whole of the championship last time, I was lucky to consistant enough and not have a single breakdown the whole season.

So, what characteristics have people gone for? I've gone for Mechanical Sympathy and Pole Sitter King. I always have trouble finishing races so hopefully with these two characteristics I can get pole and then make sure I make it the full length in most races, leaving me in with a chance of a podium every time.

I think i have speed demon and consistent. I hope I don't crash out on race 1.. The consistent can backfire

Go to results menu, season standings
then at the top it shows :
Show: [ Normal | Include Driver Characteristics ]

Click on Include Driver Characteristics

I picked Mechanical Sympathy and Speed Demon so hopefully I'll have decent pace and hopefully the car won't break down.

I'll go and spin out every race now.
