First make your mind to be consistent and frame your mind with no bias. Now you say David Warner. If he fails for another one series, that's it, you will start moaning, crap selectors.. They should have gone with Marsh rather than Warner.

This is what You said for Hilfy.. Even Syl knows that. First learn to be consistent in your views.

surendar added 1 Minutes and 53 Seconds later...

By the way, I will go with Yuvraj Singh or KP. These guys have matured themselves as strong cricketers while many others have just started their step into the internationals. Without consistency, they can't be called as best!

Warner is a star and better than Marsh. Marsh has only proved himself in IPL not internationally. I will still say Hilfy don't belong to the 1st squad. Johnson and Siddle are much better. Syl knows i prefer Johnson and he prefer Hilfy. I think you are too much digging regarding the line i have under my sig  Its true. Ponting is better than Tendulkar. Tendulkar gets much exposure where as Ponting don't. Ponting has lead us in two major WC victories, how many Tendulkar did ? Ponting has played many captain's knock as well as in WC finals also. How many match saving innings did Tendulkar played ? Ponting has the ability to take out his team from the grave and win. Tendulkar had it before but now ..........

Cook is more deserving of a place on that list than most of them. I doubt half of them will be playing in 2019 tbh.

@WC: I like that line under your sig.:)

And in the poll, it must be KP and/or Yuvraj.

haha :laugh :rtfl Members here are the witness to observe this post. I bet, you will come up moaning that "Sack Warner" after some poor series. Already I remember seeing some of posts(i don't know whether it's yours) like Warner should not open in SA vs Aus, Cb series thread.

Anyways, I can only laugh if you say that your post and view is consistent. You do have " if not playing properly, sack! if playing, keep in head and praise " kind of view

haha, I forgot that completely :p

Ponting is better than Tendulkar. Tendulkar gets much exposure where as Ponting don't. Ponting has lead us in two major WC victories, how many Tendulkar did ? Zimbabwe/Irish/Bermuda players >>>>>>>>> Ponting ( In character ) anytime.

If you are not aware of Tendulkar just shut up and don't speak.. During a particular period, India was 100% dependent on Tendulkar. If Sachin bats, confidence of India wins was more than he fails. Just keep seeing Star Cricket to know the people's view instead of knowing biased crap nonsense Chappel'ish views.

Anyways I don't want to extend any argument. It's a wrong place to discuss and lets not make it a Ponting-Tendulkar thread. You keep your views, I will keep my views & time will answer this! :onpc

Why is Thilan Samaraweera on the list? Isn't he is 33? By the time 2019 comes around, he'll be into his mid 40's. The next Jack Hobbs, eh?

Both Prince and Samaraweera are over 30, Napier isn't even a batsman, and I'm not sure if Marsh has a chance of cracking the Aussie team.

Mark my words, De Villiers will be the best.

I definitely think AB de Villiers has got what it takes to be the best batsmen of the next 10 years.

Sorry, although I see AB as massively massively talented I don't see him becoming the Ponting/Tendulkar of the next generation.

If KP fixes his attitude up a little, he's a shoe-in.

I was going so say Duminy... but any international player that cant handle the short ball will never make it in test cricket... you need all of the shots to make it like Ponting/Tendulkar etc.
I think Hughes could be a force if he keeps form like what he has.
De Villers has the ability to be great.
If KP works out in between the ears he could be great

But i think that in the next year or so Micheal Clarke will really start to hit his prime and for atleast the next 6-7 years be the most dominant bat in the world. just because he has all the shots and can battle through poor form to make a big score
