Sandeep Patil
An aggressive right handed middle-order batsman and a military medium pacer, Sandeep Patil was quite a talent. Infact, he was one of the most talked Cricketers in the Country and had a reputation that of a Superstar. He made his debut at the age of 24 against Australia on 6th December 1980. He was the hero of India during the 1983 WC where he made crucial contributions with the bat in the lower order during the knockout stages of the tournament scoring 51 runs off 32 balls against the hosts England in the Semi-final and 27 off 29 in the Finals against 2 time Champions West Indies. Although he was selected as a batsman in the side but he also bowled few overs and at times got some crucial wickets as well. He was quite a handy player to have for any side in the World. Although his average of 24.51 doesn't do justice to his talent but he was far better batsman and his contributions in the limited overs format for India were unmatched. He makes my team as an all-rounder who would bat at 7.

Mohammad Kaif
The Captain of India U-19 WC winning team during 2000 U-19 who was like a fighter. He was a very good fielder infact the best of the Indian side during his time. He made his debut at his home ground of Green Park in Kanpur but he did not get to bat in the match. His real heroics came in the 2002 NatWest Trophy when India were chasing 326 and were 146/5. Kaif along with his U19 WC team-mate Yuvraj Singh stitched a 121 runs partnership which brought India back in the game. India went on to win by 3 wickets while Kaif scored 87*. He faced a similar situation in 2004 against Pakistan in Pakistan where he scored a century and won India the game. He was a who would mostly bat in the collapses but would fight his way out to make a match out of it for his team. In my team he would bat at 5 and would be one of my top fielders in the side.
