Best Nightwatchman in the history of test cricket

i think it's australian player jason gillespie he is best night watch man

He wasn't an actual night watchman but Anil Kumble's batting in the last 2-3 years of his career was simply inspiring. He was dogged, fierce, and put a huge price on his wicket - like a newfound Dravid at 8/9/10. Got plenty of 80+ scores during that time too. A hundred vs England and that fighting 80 odd vs Australia at Sydney that nearly drew us the game stick with me.

I miss Kumble! :(

But more importantly nathan hauritz ,amit mishra and D.Tuffy are becoming good night watchman thanks to test cricket

J.Gillespie,Shane Warne are the Best Nightwatchman in the history of test cricket...

James Anderson I reckon

He has only had one duck in his test career and holds the record for going the longest in tests without scoring a duck! :happy

I wonder if Chris Martin has ever done it? :spy

Currently Daryl Tuffey would have to be the best nightwatchman in test cricket, I'm not sure who it would be in the history of the game.
