Big Ant working on Cricket Game

as anyone heard anything about the latest update on this crcket game as yet.. on the bigant website it's till says coming soon...I thought they probably was waiting till the australians announce thier world cup squad.....there is even any sort update like what's in the game or either few screen shots...

We know, it's BigAnt, they've done this with their other games as well.They fooled everyone on the Rugby League Live forum by Ross (Their CEO) communicating with the customers and promising a patch. A few months down the track and he hasn't said a word since, I know most people who bought RLL (including me) are pretty pissed off at Big Ant/HES whoever is at fault.

Just to give you a indication of how likely this game is of coming out on time, RLL PC release was scheduled for the 9th of December, is it out yet? I think you knw the answer to that.

I think this a joke, big ant's not gonna come out with a cricket game this summer..lol!!!
if they facing any sort of pronlems now then i think they shouldn't had announced it on their website or they should tell the keep udating what's going on with the game....

Why is that ea sports not coming out with a cricket game, as everybody know it thats ea's got the license to make full proper cricket game and the also they can make quality cricket games as they done in th past...

I think after ea is the codemastrs who makes cricekt games but to my knowledge codies always makes minor mistakes that they can't be sucess in their cricket game...

codies game play is not as gud as of EA.. cricket 07 was very gud game... If EA concentrate on cricket game i am sure the standard of Cricket games will improve for sure. Isnt there any1 who can suggest EA or ask them the reason why they are not doing it

I disagree - Codies IC2010 gameplay is far better than C07. That had pacing files for AI scoring, which I don't think Codies have, although situational AI in IC2010 is not the best either.

C07 had superhuman fielders too, remember that

Its quite simple. There is not enough profit involved in it for EA to bother with. Im sure a company that made a good solid game every world cup would make a tidy sum though.

Yeah, that's they thing that annoys me. They announce nothing. Maybe I'm being harsh on BigAnt, after all they're a small gaming company developing title for the sports I like. It's Just frustrating how they/HES handle things.

Big Ant just seem overstretched, they have at least three games in development supposedly releasing soon (they announced another one today) - they don't seem to be a studio big enough to have three big games going at once, so wouldn't be surprised if the delay is simply a lack of resources.

Guys i think the only thing we can do is hope that codemasters[trickstar] do a new cricket game in the near future because i don't have much hope for bigant to release a cricket game as good or better than ic2010 in the near future. Lets face it, cricket is a hard sport to get right and no one has ever done it close to perfect in a game. Still i love cricket and will buy any new one that is ok.
