Big Match Performers

they are featuring in both.

I don't care if they feature in both or feature in neither, if they are more than 2/3rds of the way down the list they aren't really big match players. They've just played in finals.

Russel Arnold 6th in the batting list! No wonder SL persisted with him for so long.

be cool, okay.
your opinion is respected by me.

Tendulkar and Sanath can be considered big match batsman, but can't be considered big match bowlers.

They are there only because they have played a lot of finals, so have taken 16 wickets.

Afridi deserves it though.

I think Bevan and Kirsten are easily outperformed by Tendulkar and Richards because of the strike rate factor. Both Tendulkar and Richards have strike rates above 85, which is marvelous. Whereas Bevan and Kirsten have strike rates below 75.

:rtfl:laugh who said them both even good bowlers.

In English?

@BB, the strike rate factors are going to be different for a few different reasons, whilst the stats show they did well in finals it doesn't tell you the context like where they came in, the score when they came in or even where they were playing.

Waiting for sohum to pull out his barometer joke :p.

But It is true that even after good performances by Tendulkar and Jaya,
their teams have lost on most occasions.
