That's the funniest thing I've ever heard.
Cricket 2005 sucks.

I've managed to findout how to change attributes in player editor.
See I created a face of an imaninary person:

sorry to say but bharat, you have only pointed the bad points. my opinion is that EA has really done a good job comparing C5 to C4. of course there are some, let me call it bad improvements, but thats not all buddy. there is lot more than this few points.

by the way i agree fully: for indians and pakistanis there is a lot of realism loss. but i think its possible to patch the game (already started).

and everyone don't forget: C2004 was also very buggy before all of you patched it - after patching the game was right okay and the most of us have a great time with it.

the basics for C2005 (calling the graphic and animations) are great and the gameplay attributes can patched of course. thats my opinion about the C2005. its just good and can be very good (not perfect) after a couple of patching months.

Cricket 2005 best !!!

The thing with cricket 2005 is great gameplay, great animations and graphics and reality in terms of the variety of shots on offer as well as balls on offer with respect to bowling...
this is how i rate it ..personally..brian lara sucks ..the demo is ****... i mean in real version in exhibition matches the player names are gonna be fake...-10 for that...and the shots on offer are uurrrgh .....its disappointing.....
Also its gonna be hard to patch brian lara cricket...
only plus thing thing with brian lara is the number of stadiums on offer...EA misses out on that...
Also the modding and patchers community will find EA's cricket more attractive...
A fair comparison as i put it...
Graphics: Animations included..
EA : 8
BLC : 9
Gameplay:
EA:7 can be brought higher thru patches..and mods
BLC: 5 pathetic...
Realism:
EA:8 good graphics...rights to all the major cricketing nations..kits , player likeness
BLC : 5 ...have to play with fake player names in exhibition matches...

Only respite for BLC might be the creation centre....thats it..
But EA has provided a package that may be more delivering than Codemasters

BLIC 2005 VS EA Cricket 2005

BLIC 2005 VS EA Cricket 2005

Well I dont know where to post this so I am starting it here in general chat section, mods can please move it to a suitable section. :p

Well I played a few matches in BLIC, and i must admit that i absolutely loved it. But again now I cant help compare the two rival games. Having played both the games I must say I enjoyed EA Cricket 2005 more in overall performance which includes graphics, gameplay everything. I must say BLIC is a unique game. I enjoyed the realistic gameplay the most. I mean when i see the replays after hitting a boundary or a six, i feel like its the real thing. :hpraise The animations are so smooth. But having said that, Ea's version isnt that bad either. The biggest let down in BLIC according to me is the exclusion of autoplay feature. :mad I mean if I am playing a test match I have to manually bowl out the opposition first to get to bat, which is really annoying. The commentary is by no doubt 100 times better than EA. But again they dont call the names of the players in regular matches, which is a dissapointment. Next up is stats - EA is once again better in this department. I mean there should be an automatic stats update system like in EA, for both the created players and the inbuilt players. Next is roster. I must say EA has surpassed BLIC in this department as well. EA includes all the teams even county teams. But BLIC is only offering us the international teams including 15 players in each team which is absolutely boring, and you can only create 3 players. But again the tournament creation mode is awesome in BLIC which I think will be included in the next EA release.
Anyways these are just my views. You guys can post your vies saying which game do you like more and why.

Well commentary - Codies had it a lot easier as they didn't have to intergrate players name.

Gameplay - Good, but way too easy. Bowling the AI out on test level takes about 25 overs, and the AI rarely run singles. The speed in BLIC is completely screwed, Akhtar bowls one ball 102mph and the next 40mph. And sixes are easy to hit.

I thought these stupid polls ended??? There has been like a trillion of them!!!!!!!

And both games are as bad as each other.....

i voted BLIC but that game is far from ideal

i dont actually have EA 2005, but i was lucky enough to waste $95 on EA 2004...and that was a wonderful piece of poo

Yup he is a angry young man argha.:p
I like EA Sports Cricket 2005. :p

Well being an Xbox owner, Cricket 2005 was pretty much unplayable so i took it back.

BLIC was good at the start. But then just things like players not running spoilt the game and it got repetitive.

So in my opinion, both suck! (on Xbox that is....)
