BLIC - Report any bugs here

I just found a major bug in BLIC, which is rather somthing i haven't seen in any of the cricket games.

I was playing Eng vs Aus, I played a shot (eng) and the CPU (Aus) was giving it a chase, nothing too usual abt it. But once the fielder reached the ball, he started circleing the ball....round and round and round. But this doesn't stop right there, 1 more fielder who was also chasing the ball, started running round and round the ball, just like the first fielder did.

Ok so both were circling the ball for abt 3-4 mins. I wanted to record this, but for some reason the recording software didn't record the right screen.

It was so funny, I haven't seen anything like this before. The game resumed after few mins.

When the fielders were circling the ball, I thought i had to re-start the game or somethin, but thankfully everything went to normal.

pretty strange uh?

Was Symonds one of the fielders?

I do not know if this is bug or not but I am not able to move the batsman right and left while facing the bowler. I have a Saitek P880 gamepad and the batsman does not move when i press the d-pad. I tried disabling the digital control and even the analog stick doesn't move the batsman. how do you move the freakin batsman?? Plaese help!!

Is it that you cannot move right and left while batting? Please help!!

Help!

Can anyone help me? I want to install the game in C drive as there is a lot of space there. My E drive is full. For some strange reason I am not able to browse and change the destination drive. Does anybody know how to change the default drive - the one which automatically comes on during most installations,i.e. E drive in my case. Could I change it to C?

You have already tried the browse button. I am able to change the drive using the browse button. I do not know why its not doing it for you. Worst case scenario you can always move some stuff over from your E drive to C drive and make space for BLIC on your default E drive.

:D :D . Man alive, I've got to see this. I hope it happens in my demo, that'd be hilarious....

A little bug. If you run on a no ball, then get caught, if you have not finished a run by the time you are caught the batsmans stop running and you can't reguest for more runs or finish the one you've started. In addition everyone reacts like a player is out when he is caught off a no ball, it's like nobody apart from the umpire realises.

i got out of an edge.. caught by the keeper.. the keeper got up and tried to run me out , instead of celebrating...
i dnt understand, y cant we sneak a run when the bowler is appealing for an lbw..

also... i think the fielders move too quickyl..
also the ai.. i was playin aus.. scored 63.. in 6 overs.. the comp didnt really slog for 6 overs.. except for the stupid 6 it hit over fine leg..

i had the two fielders running in circles arround the ball. it was like they were chacing each other. it went on for about 30 - 40 seconds.

Ok one more person had it so it definately is a frequently occuring bug.

Holmie,

What similarities can you draw from your two fielders running in circles compared to the one Sameer had? That way we can sort of try to recognize what causes this stupid thing to happen.

Thanks.

This is certainly a bug now because in the first ball of an innings Lehmann hit a huge shot over mid-wicket off a no ball, was just over three quarters of the way through his run before he was caught by (I believe) Flintoff. One run was added to the total as an extra, as mentioned previously the run the batsman made didn't count.

But what makes me 100% sure that this is a bug, is the following ball, the second of the innings Ponting was at the strikers end, it's as if the run was completed, it just hasn't been added to the score, it would explain why the other batsman was at the strikers end.

i dont know if this has been mentioned before...but there is no draw in the game see below...is this a bug???
