BLIC - Report any bugs here

on blic, lara still wont be able to choose whether to play back or front foot. also cricket 2005 will sell a heap more copies than blic. seeing cricket 2005 is out earlier people will buy that game and then wont even bother buying blic as they already have a cricket game. if u want 2 support codemasters than u do that. i know which company is bigger and stronger though. which company would make the most money. ea thats right.

ofcourse ea will sell more cause of thier reputation they are way more popular but thats the thing all they care about is sales and that dosent mean ea's game is better cause it isnt

so Ankit kukreti are with blic or ea you have played both right and you know where im coming from aye with the blic gameplay i mean ea is soooo boring after the first few minutes of play it isnt very challenging at all you dont even have to think i mean i can play it while im holding a coke in my other hand the gameplay is sooooooooo boring and predictable

Actually I can't be precise because I have only played the demos and not the full version. I am not even thinking about cricket 2005 because BLIC is the game I am going to get

Yes I can expect the gameplay of cricket 2005 and quite frankly it's boring, improvements are there from 2004 but not enough for me to buy this game.

BLIC on other hand is a brand new game with different style compared to EA, which I think wil be more refreshing and jou to play.

One more thing, I know that BLIC demo may be similar to full version. But CMR 2005 full version was better than it's demo. There are enough thing in BLIC for me to buy this game.

Exactly, money is the issue for EA. This game was supposed to come later this year but they released it before BLIC because the wanted to make more money.

That's the only reason they released this game before Codemasters, they want to sell the game before BLIC arrives. Good marketing but I am sorry EA, I am not going to fall in your hands again :D

so this is the bug thread for blic. must be a lot of bugs mentioned in this thread as blic is just a pathedic excuse for a cricket game. cricket 2005 way better than this bug filled game. cant chose front or back foot shots, cant advance and the graphics look like a cartoon. very similar graphics to the simpsons. dont waste your money on the bug filled blic. better buy a lot of bug spray if u want to keep the bugs away from this game.

You need to chill out a bit. Every thread I read I see you bashing BLIC and praising EA based on very little evidence. If you want to make some valid points go for it but saying BLIC is more buggy than c2k5 is just plain wrong; saying the AI is terrible is rubbish because no-one knows yet; criticising the graphics is subjective because some people prefer them.
Once both games are released I'd be happy to read a review of both by you but for the moment please stop bagging BLIC at every opportunity.

On a happier note I can confirm that there is no bug revolving around drawn matches in the demo. If the scores are level the team with more wickets in hand wins and if both are level it is decided by a coin toss (as in the screenshot). Now if only we'd been doing that for the Natwest Trophy final...

That's interesting, I never really thought about anything like that, Although it is not that fair as you have no control about who wins the toss....

*Outfield is too fast.
*The strokes goto the same preset direction. There should be some direction range for the strokes.
*The power for the strokes is too much.
*I never get LBW since the ball goes high over the wickets. So wickets can be made little bit longer.

Well I dont know if this should be counted as a bug but just for referance I would like to point it out. Whenever a decision is given using the Hawkeye it refers to right handed batsman even if a lefthander is batting at the moment !!! Its just an observation !!!

I know this isn't a bug, but has anyone noticed that the commentator says an exact line from EA's 2004:"The bowler will look at the captain long and hard. If only a fielder had been there"
Wierd ay?

Whats the use of fielding meter ? Even if we don't care about fielding meter nothing happens.i.e.CPU doesn't look to take any extra runs.So even if the throw is bad it doesn't matter.
So my suggestion would be that cpu should always look for extra runs for bad throws etc..
Same goes with no-ball meter.Even if we don't press any keys during bowling runup, no-ball is not given. So whats the use of no-ball meter?

yaa i heard the same line many times. i don't know why they copied such a bad commentary from c2004?
and also outfield seems to be too fast as in c2004

surely the fact that the bowler has to bowl it completely off the side of the wicket for it to be a wide is a bug ??? I mean, it contradicts the rules of cricket!!

I've cancelled my pre-order for BLIC!
