All it took for one of those dumb "captain reviews his own bowling" reviews to work was Joel Wilson to do a Joel Wilson lol. Sorry lads, that was uh, not out

Same story. If the top/middle order keeps failing, how on earth would the bowlers have the cushion of runs to feel confident when bowling?

Forget Siraj even the batters are like we only believe in Jasssiiii Bhai.

Third highest scorer in the line-up today.

Stats by Deepu Narayanan

Seventh time in last eight Tests India have been bowled out inside the first 80 overs in their first innings.

Bowled out for under 200 in 1st inngs of an SCG Test last 30 years
150 Ind vs Aus 2000
127 Aus vs Pak 2010
191 Ind vs Aus 2012
185 Ind vs Aus 2025

Chirping Konstas for defending Usman is a... interesting way to handle events

Some minor consolation for India with the Khawaja wicket.

Konstas charging down on the 1st ball of the innings will make things interesting tomorrow. Have a feeling he will dominate.

Looks like our bowlers will have a long day in the field.

If the ball is nipping around, with variable bounce in the first session again tomorrow, Konstas won't last more than five overs playing like that.

I would have agreed here but all he has to do is see out Bumrah (I do expect him to play the odd shot here and there though). Prasidh is known to be wayward and Siraj is not on song.

An able support at the other end would have made for a fighting battle but it's advantage Sam at the moment. An hour of play from him and Australia would be sitting prety close to 180.

This is just a little dramatic - he scored 60 in 92 minutes at the G. But I think you're right. If he gets out in the opening spell it'll be a huge psychological advantage to India, but if he's not dismissed by lunch, I could definitely see at least one or two of the Indians kinda losing their heads at that point

I think people are putting too much stock into Konstas. Personally, I think we've played him way too early. Should have had at least another full season of shield cricket (maybe county if picked up). He's hasn't experienced teams putting work into him before (technique/mental side that is). I just think the way he plays, while entetaining, won't serve him very well long term.
