Border-Gavaskar Trophy (India in Australia) Dec-Jan 2011/12

in fairness to you tendu nutters, technically, no one has got close to dealing with this pitch as well as tendulkar.

still more likely a great ball or even bad luck will do him in though.

Clarke seems to be going defensive early. Down to two slips and a gully with a packed Cover region seems strange when the ball is still doing a bit. He can't afford for one of these two to edge it to where 3rd slip should be.

I cannot understand this "They have to bat well" from commentators. Even if the target was 100 if you do not bat well you are going to lose... :p:p

I do not understand people writing India out here. Aus where 16/2 and India are 0/2 (wiping off the lead) at the same stage. All we need is sachin and Dravid to have a 150 run partnership. :thumbs

Its pretty much over now for India.Dont see the others putting up much of a fight other than Tendulkar.

Right. Two great people to watch on Aussie pitches, at the crease right now. Either these two score at 4-5 runs an over, or one of them will get out.

There is some problem with Dravid. I think he is having some problem in sighting the ball. He drop catches and he is getting bowled.
He got bowled 3 times in this match and that happens with batsman only when he is not able to sight the ball properly.

Maybe i am wrong, but i think he might retire very soon.

----------

In this match both teams have given away their advantage. India let australia to set target of 292 from 230. Now i have a feeling that, Australia might give away the advantage on match now.

Wonderful! stuff. Gosh.. am I loving this.

A target of 292 might be enough for Australia. India 3 down now with 63 runs on-board.

I love seeing the way Hilfy/Siddle and now Pattinson are charging in..

Also, quick thought on Siddle. I've always felt he had that bright spark in him. I feel he has been rather unlucky though.. but there's still has a-lot of time left to change that. :yes

Spare a thought for the Indian bowlers if India lose this match. They've probably put in their best collective bowling effort in recent times and the batsmen might be letting them down !

Regarding Dravid, yes he's not the same batsman he was. His technique is quite loose, he's been bowled 3 times so far in 2 innings. His catching was poor in England...really poor. And he's followed that again here. Still, he's done quite well this year in Tests so I can't see him getting dropped any time soon.
