The optimism in me is back (what to do, I am hopelessly in love with Indian cricket)! If Dhoni and Ishant and Yadav can survive for another 30-40 runs, we will get 210-215 runs and if our bowlers produce the type of performance in MCG and have Australia at some 50 odd for 4 or 5 wickets, then the match could be on, and hopefully this time we bowl better against the senior batsmen and the tail and stay in the game. JUST OPTIMISTIC!!!

Haven't watched a ball just relying on cricinfo commentary, don't know whats going on because the pitch sounds pretty flat. The aussies do have a good bowling attack though, all that was needed was getting rid of Johnson. Probably about time some of the older Indian batsman start thinking about retirement. I would've dropped Laxman for Rohit.

+1 Need a MSD special. Switch to T20 mode and hit everything Seems to be playing good so far.

The ball is moving around and the bounce is hard and true and the new ball gives the bowlers a lot of help. If Australia survive through the new ball (probably the timeline would be the first 25 overs) with only 3 wickets down, India WILL BE CRUSHEDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!! We need to get 5 Aussie wickets by the 25-30th over to stay in the game. But seeing our bowlers at MCG, I am still having that faintest hope that we can stay in the game. Funny that I am putting more money on our bowling than our batting.
