Hi all!,

Here we go!, :happy

Download :"International Roster Characteristics Update-Beta Version" (size: 114 kb only) from the Attachment!

Be Remember that as this is the Beta version only 4 teams(IND,PAK,AUS,ENG) updated. Rest will be added in CGPv3!. Though we can change the player char, the CPU still looks at the AI configs. As i am currently working on CGPv3, you may experience different results. Any how will work to an extent with CGPv2RR, though am not tested with it!. Some thing to try out...

International Roster Characteristics Update - Beta

Intro:

This is a innovative think am working on that will give you a realistic game play experience!. The default player characteristics are not up to the mark. So that am decided to tweak it to more realistic and works well.All the player's consistency, temp, flexibility, aggression, defence, batting, bowling and fielding parameters are changed!. Test Line-ups also changed with the option of 5 bowlers only, in some rare cases only 4 bowlers are used!(i hate 6th bowler!, coz they tend to bowl more overs than the main ones!.). In feature i also update the stats as well, currently i've less time!. Just test it out to find out!.

IRCU - Beta:

The main aim is to modify all the test playing nation's player's char. For this beta version i modified 4 teams, "INDIA", "PAKISTAN", "AUSTRALIA", and "ENGLAND". The rest of the teams will be added in CGPv3 will be scheduled to release on 30.03.2005(wednesday).

Installation:

BEFORE INSTALLING ANY THING JUST BACKUP YOUR "roster.pak".(The un-installer not provided.) IT WILL HELP YOU IN A CRISIS!.

1.Just unzip the "ircubeta.zip" into u'r preferred folder. Now copy the contents into "c:\My Documents\EA SPORTS\Cricket 2004\user-xxx", (where xxx - is your user name in-game).

2.After you begin a tourney just save it on any available slot!, then by using "prakash-line up editor latest version", import your teams with "Roster-import" option. Say for example if you are playing "IND v PAK" game, just import "ircuIndia.lst" and "ircuPakistan.lst" using "line up editor-import roster" option.(Make sure you select the corresponding teams before importing the roster list, otherwise the game may crash!, for example before importing ircuIndia.lst", you have to select "Team" India"). Thats it!, Now you can enjoy your game with out any hassle.

3.If you don't import the roster list after beginning a tourney it won't work!. It will only select a player from in-game(default) line-up. So that the characteristics tweak won't work!. But for the exhibition matches you won't have to import the roster list. It will automatically plays with the edited line-up where as for other tourney formats follow the step no:2.

O.k.Guys!, after playing around with it a bit, kindly remember to output your thoughts/rev/fb/pros/cons on it, thus we can make it perfect before CGPv3! :hpraise

hi boss i downloaded your sam bug fix patch for sams demo.exe. i dont use sams patch anymore but how do uninstall your sam bug fix patch because i think it is affecting my gameplay in test matches

Which roster have you used? Because if you have used the new rodter.pak that I have released with updated lineups, more players, etc.... then I am sure more people might use it as it has a lot of the new players in it.....

i am planning to release a new roster but I am kind off busy and will be going to India on Saturday and won't be on for quite a while so you guys will have to wait a few weeks for it.

ive tried your International Roster Characteristics Update-Beta Version it is excellent

i played a test match austra;lia v india i was australia and in the first over i was mgrath bowling and sehwag hit 2 boundaries in the first over.

i got gambhir out later on in the match then dravid came to scene and he did not try and hit the ball, he played defensively and it was solid. he was actually like a proper wall nothing was going through and i bowled 6 overs at him and i think he scored between 5-10 runs

this is excellent boss i hope this works out well in your next gameplay patch

Friend just install the previous patch u used using cfg editor by prakash thats it.

very intersting to read that havent tried this roster yet, but ur review shows me a light about the roste, great work boss soon unleash the full thing

Hi Friends!,

I found one error in Indian roster List file included with IRCU Beta.(i.e. Zaheer khan presented in the bowling line up while he is not in the team, that makes the game crashes to desktop when ever 1st Indian Team line-up Selected!). Here is the corrected indian roster list. So just download it, unzip it and overwrite the previous one!. Prob solved!

Hi Jazz!, I didn't include the Un-installation file with "samsexebugfix". Anyhow I don't know which patch u were using before. If u may backup the previous file, just copy the "Test Hard" settings from the previous one and over write your current(i.e.the sams exe bug fix) settings with Config Editor-TestHard option. If it didn't help u, tell me!, later i'll include the original config!, hope this will help!.

Hi Zorax!, I am curently using ryands first roster update and there on i incl all the players from others!, kinda my own Roster!!!, any how i may think on using other rosters in future!, good work mate!!!

Sorry to say this buddy i havent tried the beta version as u know i am playing the story mode and changing the roster will make some problem i think. Anyway i think our fellow members will check it out.

I have a doubt buddy, can i use the new roster by u instead the one using now, will i get the effect in the saved games that is the current story thread
