This post is for those who love the fast bowling in DBC17. I noticed many argue that the fast bowling in the game is not as rewarding as spin bowling, however, based on my experience, it is BEAUTIFUL specially the out swing deliveries are very effective and produce a real chance of caught behinds. If you bowl on the right areas/line and length, you will surely get wickets just like in real cricket. It also very much depends on the pitch types so kudos to @BigAntStudios for adding this feature as it works perfectly. currently, I am playing a 3 test match series between SA vs Pak on hardest and Legend settings and my left arm seamers have destroyed the SA batting line up. Note that at legend difficultly AI does not give wickets easily and consumes a lot of overs but when you get a wicket, its like 'oh what a feeling' moments. Here is the summary and some videos of the gameplay I captured:

First Test @ Centurion - Pitch condition: Crumbly, Soft, Uneven.
1st innings: SA 249 all out that includes 7 caught behinds between slips and keeper.
1st innings: Pak 155 all out
2nd innings SA 129 all out that includes 6 caught behinds, 3 bowled 1 LBW.
2nd innings Pak 189 all out
Result: SA managed to win this test.

Second Test @ Johannesburg - Pitch condition: Grassy, Soft, Light Cracks.
1st innings: SA 229 all out that includes 4 caught behinds. Spinners took rest of the wickets
1st innings : Pak 144/9 in-progress

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you about AI not giving there wickets up easily from my experience since patch 3 the highest score the AI have made against me is 204 on legend and they play cheap chip shots and are quite easy to dismiss I can pretty much predict how much they will make and how many overs it will take
It was much better on patch 2 The AI scored abit quickly but didn't play cheap shots also I have increased the top 7 batsman skills to max and still get them out cheaply

I could be wrong but I have not yet noticed any cheap shots by AI so far. Some AI catches go to cover and fine leg but I won't call it cheap dismissal because AI plays way too aggressive from the test match standards. What really annoying me is the fielders take one hand jumping/flying catches, these should be taken properly with both hands from the realism perspective. @BigAntStudios Can this be fixed? Also, note sure how difficult is to add 4-5 variations to the bowling actions.

Yeah I agree the fielders taking catches sometimes looks abit odd I used the have my field set to normal but where getting easy wickets with the same fielder taking 4 to 5 catches a game which can sometimes happen in real cricket but not that often so I set them to back and now the AI just try to chip over field and always get caught with the one handed jump catch again same fielder taking 4 to 5 catches a game i found the AI didn't play those type of shots in patch 2 The only issue I had was they scored to quickly but at least they scored decent totals hopefully BA can get the balance right and we end up with the AI somewhere around where DBC 14 AI was

If that's all there is to hope for, the game is a massive disappointment in my opinion! The AI in DBC14 was not good at all and it appears that very little has been done to improve on it.

AI is almost the same. In T20s there's a patter of attacking in the first 6 overs and then bat slowly rest of the innings to get to a below average score between 140-160 no matter the number of wkts AI has left in the bank. Chasing is the same old story of not batting to chase the target down. At the moment I have to simulate AI's batting innings to get competitive matches. In nutshell with regards to fielding, AI fields/field sets and AI in general I haven't seen any improvement whatsoever in DBC 17.
