My opinion of this is it is excellent!!!!

Very challenging. You have to work to get special deliveries and use them properly because they don't appear that often. The Demo expander has allowed me to view the A.I. This is terrific. I set the cpu a total of 78 ( :clap )
The cpu defended every good ball and punished EVERY bad ball and played to win, not all guns blazing or defend everything, conservative play. Also, during my innings the cpu changed the field to attacking when through to my tailenders or when on top of my batsmen.

Iv'e finally bowled someone using Giles, the special quicker ball made the batsmen mistime and miss the ball.

There is an issue with the speed of bowlers but I believe, correct me if I am wrong, Codemasters are doing somthing about it?

yeah i noticed when i played the demo that the bowlers speeds werent exactly the quickest seen. u have to go very close to a no-ball to get a quick speed. on many occassions i keep getin mcgrath watson gillespie bowlin 110-120 km/h deliveries. too low.

This is one of the few issues I believe should be addressed, another one would be the fielders running smart and not making sudden changes, well I would add few more better bat and ball physics (if notice properly the ball doesnt bounce at all on the ground after being hit) and the CPU soemtimes doesnt take singles if the ball goes to the outfield even if there is no fielders, this would suffice.

For the next version I would want manual appealing, especially where the batsman misses the ball but there was a sound and the CPU puts the umpire in severe pressure, now that is cricket!!!

And more celebration animations, if u look at the demo, the fielders stand round or raise their hands unenthused even when the umpire gives the batsman out, now that is something that needs to be addressed, overall I think the players dont look too excited when the batsman is declared out as if the match has been decided any ways, this is something I want to be amended in the next version.

yeah for sure better player celebrations would be sweet. and yeah the fielders need improving, i wonder if we'll be able to throw to the bowlers end in the full version? also, is there a button to make fielders dive cos its so frustratin when they run in than miss it and it goes for 4.

I'm having a bit of trouble bowling, can't work out the special deliveries yet.
I only seem to be able to get 2-3 wickets a game.

how do u guys bowl special deliveries??do i have to press L2/R2 just i do for making the swing by pressing L1/R1????pls help me out here.thanks

Bowling speed issue would definat be addressed.Because it is ridiculous that there are too much slow balls and your ball is also slow many times even no ball and hard to ball fast.Otherwise very enjoyable bowling.

Pc= The bowlers confidence needs to be full and the ball next to the meter needs to flash. AS always you press 2 to start the cursor, but at the meter you press 1 or 3. If you press "more" in the scorecard youcan see batsmans ability and bowlers, including their special balls.

ok kool as, thanks mate

i'm having trouble with the bowling, downloaded the demo and expander yesterday, and i cant seem to get any wickets. i'm bowling a nice line with a touch of away swing most of the time, and a lot of the time they are just playing and missing and not finding the edge. grrrrrr.... quite annoying, then they end up pelting me across the line for 6! can anyone help?

Dya think McGrath gets annoyed that he doesn't take wickets often, yet he gets maidens after maidens? It's that same robotic action, bowl after bowl, after bowl, after bowl, after bowl...

i am not very good at bowling and hardly take a wicket wen i pitch on the stumps it gets hit for six. and also the speeds are ridiculous brett lee should bowl 150 not 120. yes so can sum1 plz tell me how to get wickets on PC demo of the game

i am in the same boat as u joem cant bowl

Could you possibly tell me what each button on a Logitech Rumblepad controller does? I can't seem to match the buttons with what is described in the Options menu. It seems that L2 and R2 make the ball pitch left/right at the last minute, but I don't think they are special deliveries. Also, I thought buttons 1 and 3 were simply straight or swing deliveries. Are the "special" deliveries meant to be buttons L1 and L2? And what do buttons 1, 2, 3 and 4 actually do?

Thanks for any help.

:) I got 5-17 with Brett Lee in a 20twenty

And BTW how do you post screenshots of the game.
I've heard about image shack and ive got fraps but how do you include them into your post.

I agree with that... But I think the way the bowler appeals is pretty cool, mabye a few more animations for that aswell..
