BREAKING NEWS

B) hail microsoft :angry:

Earlier today, the Windows NT 4 and Windows 2000 source code was leaked in its entirety.

It would appear that two packages are circulating on the internet, one being the source code to Windows 2000, and the other being the source code to Windows NT. At this time, it is hard to establish whether or not full code has leaked, and this will undoubtedly remain the situation until an attempt is made to compile them. Microsoft are currently unavailable for comment surrounding this leak so we have no official response from them at the time of writing.

This leak is a shock to the wider IT industry. The ramifications of this leak are far reaching and devastating. The number of industries and critical systems that are based around these technologies that could be damaged by new exploits found in this source code is something that doesn't bear thinking about.

Microsoft has asked anyone with information to forward anything they know about the leak to the Microsoft's Anti-Piracy department.

Why would anyone do that??Microsoft did say that oly "certain" parts of the code was stolen and not then entire thing.God knows there is how much truth in it.BTW MS SUXX.

What is a source code?
B) if we knew the source code of c2k4 then we could fix the bugs.

It is the code that makes up the program, ie. the programming instructions in its original programming language, before it was compiled to make an exe.

For example a code of c++ would look like this

#include<iostream.h>
#include<conio.h>
#include<iomanip.h>
#include<string.h>
#include<stdio.h>
#include<process.h>
#include<ctype.h>
#include<stdlib.h>
#include<math.h>
#include<dos.h>
int nprime(int o)
{
int c=0;
for(int l=1;l<o;l++)
if(o%l==0)
c++;
if(c==1)
return 1;
else
return 0;
}
int tnprime(int n,int &p1,int &p2)
{
int i,k;
for(i=n-1;i>0;i--)
{
k=nprime(i);
if(k==1)
{
p1=i;
break;
}
}
for(i=n+1;;i++)
{
k=nprime(i);
if(k==1)
{
p2=i;
break;
}
}
return k;
}
:thumbs:
